This product looked great and the price was right, so I switched from my normal brand and tried it - and relieved to pay half the price for twice the size of beads — but since day one I can’t even notice it in my car - and it’s right in the center console by a vent. I shake it in order to smell the nice mild fragrance, but I have to put my nose up to it. The beads are still most of the way full and totally moist and they just dont add any noticeable scent to my vehicle. I’m used to my preferred brand that I’ll go back to, where you get in the car and it’s a nice little treat to smell the fragrance beads. These do not do that whatsoever. ... show more

I had a very musty smell in my wood lined closet. When I opened this air freshener I couldn’t really smell a strong odor so I was doubtful whether it would work. But I removed the seal and put it in the closet with the door closed and in one day the musty smell is gone! So apparently they work quite well! I thought this would be a good alternative to a plug in but I wasn't impressed with it. First, the lid fell off very easily upon opening, which concerned me for my young kids finding it and playing with it or trying to eat them (this would apply to pets too if we had them)! Thankfully I placed mine on a high shelf in the bathroom and the entryway - but neither of them worked to disperse scent through the room! The smell was mild and pleasant when I held it to my nose, but I could never smell them in the room as a whole, which was super disappointing. They might as well have not even been there. Pretty colored product and it does smell good as long as you hold it up to your face no further than 3 inches. Any further and you cannot smell it. Which defeats the purpose.
