TLDR; Auburn brown matched my brown/50 shades of brown-red hair with dark roots like a dream. Didn’t think the pack would be enough however pleasantly surprised. Clip ins are very sturdy, recommend backcombing before placing for extra security. Sort of thin at the ends if you have shoulder/chin length hair but still looks pretty legit. Buy these. I ordered Auburn Brown hoping it would match my roots and not look weird. It ended up matching my ends perfectly instead and I couldn’t be happier. (My color is a red/brown/burgundy around level 4/5 and my ends are faded probably closer to a level 6 strawberry blonde.) I have pretty thin/sparse hair and it’s currently in a “Rachael” cut after my hair was destroyed from being blonde. I was worried this would not blend or you would be able to see the line of my real hair vs fake and due to the ends matching, you cannot tell. I went with 16” because I feel it looks most natural and is able to blend into my layers easily. (12” usually hits right at my shoulders and I tend to get 18” tangled.) The packages arrived in a small white box and I was worried it wouldn’t be enough hair. I used to glue in tracks back in the early 2000s and would usually require 1.5 packs of Yaki hair. I’d say this is closer to a full pack but definitely gets the job done. It’s silky and thick and hasn’t shed much. The clips are secured and will not budge and close and open easily. (If you have fine hair like I do tease some hair first before placing the clips.) I was worried my shorter bits (around neck/shoulder length) would pop out or be noticeable but they really weren’t (you can always braid the underside to avoid the baby/short hairs from showing and then clip it up to hide.) Over all I am really really happy with this purchase and will purchase again in the future when I decide to change up my hair. I just bought these so I will update after wearing them for awhile on how they hold up. Edit: 7/7/23 I haven’t worn them as much as I thought I would; but I needed to dye them darker to match my current color. They took the color well but you have to really saturate. I’d recommend a liquid based mix color over creme. Most of the color took but it almost looks like a natural hi light on some pieces but I’m okay with it bc it looks natural. It held a curl well but you need to spray with heat protectant and hair spray first, curl and then set with spray again. You can use Moroccan Oil hairspray for hold and movement. These extensions are amazing. I have the 14" and just purchased the longer one. I always buy two packs of each. My hair is red but had my stylist brightened up a bit. Matched the extensions perfectly. Easy to curl. I don't use much product in them. But I have washed my 14" set and they look still new. Absolutely recommend them. Love my new longer length. I normally buy my extensions at the local Beauty Supply, $140 for one pack. I felt like I was getting overcharged so I finally decided to check out Amazon’s options. Finally settled on these because the price was unbeatable!! 2 packs of 22 inches for $140 was a steal. I WILL say yes these are thin!! So if you have very thin hair like me and want LENGTH, 2 packs is an absolute MUST. I would probably purchase 2 no matter what the state of your hair because better safe than sorry. Installed these and YESSSS BABY they were giving everything they needed to give! Hair is soft, shiny, silky, just beautiful, takes heat really well, most importantly the clips are THIN so it looked incredibly natural. Nobody would know these are extensions. I have yet to experience any terrible shedding like I saw in the other reviews but I’ve only had them for a week now. 4 stars because the wefts are thin. I am a repeat customer of these hair extensions for good reason - the hair is incredible! It's full from top to the ends, the clips don't slide in your hair once you clip them in and the color is spot on! They are flawless - you can't even tell that I'm wearing hair extensions! I think these are great for a first time user (like myself) but I was expecting more. The ends are really thin and for the price, I was expecting more hair. Otherwise it’s great - just seems pricey for the amount offered.
