I opted to buy this set of swings instead of an expensive heavy play set as we rent, and it would be easier to move in the future. The chains are a good long length and it came with straps and carabiners for more hanging options. We chose to hang them from an existing laundry pole we had in the back yard. The straps are quite sturdy but do rub and wear over time so I would recommend wrapping something around a branch under the straps if you were to hang them from a tree... as the bark might snag on the straps. They are like a seatbelt material. The carabiners have twist locks on them as well which come in handy for me as my kids are always trying to adjust the swing height on their own. We have had ours up for about 6 months now and they are holding up great. Overall a good product and I’d recommend if you’re looking for replacement swings or just something cheaper and lighter than a whole swing set. ... show more

Seems like a great high quality accessory for a swing set, maybe it was my mistake for not paying attention to the length...... this is WAY to long to use on a swing set. It's really made for use on a tree. I don't have a tree for this so it had to be sent back. I'm hoping to find the same product in a shorter length. Didn't put up so I don't know how it would do out in the elements but it seems like it would last. Rope was soft but thick enough to be able to hold on and climb with, plastic was thick and heavy duty. ... show more

Length measurements are spot on so make sure you have an area tall enough to hang. We installed ours to the top of a 7.5ft climbing dome. The boys love it. They can climb, sit or stand and swing. Great product and easy to install.
