For the price of the cage and insulation it's decent. However a huge setback is the heated mat barely warms up at the highest setting.

I will say that getting the cover off the pad is a piece os work for sure because of how the foam seems to interact with the cover. However, I just lined the foam with a pee pad in case he makes a mistake so I can just remove the cover and wash it without the actual pad being saturated. The heating pad works well to keep the pad warm for long periods and seems to be effective at getting through. We actually keep this inside the house and the kennel is kept near a window where there may be a draft. It's a really good quality kennel that holds up well and is easy to assemble and dissemble. I like that the door slides open rather than folding out because the dog finds it to be kind of difficult to dig his way out. I have to say that I'm impressed with this kennel. ... show more
