This cream is nourishing, hydrating, and very moisturizing. It is very lightly scented and feels wonderful on your skin. The two active ingredients are organic horse chestnut flower extract and horse chestnut escin, which is the active molecule in the fruit. A little does go a long way with this cream, so I expect it to last for quite some time. My skin looked visibly fuller and plumper after applying this cream in the morning. I did feel like this was pretty refreshing to apply at night as well. For older skin, this product will really help keep fine lines and dryness at bay. I've tried the Nutri-Lumiere night cream and loved it so I had high expectations for this day cream. It lived up to my expectations. I have extremely dry, almost crepey skin. This day cream is very rich and moisturizing (yet somehow not greasy at all) and visibly plumps my dehydrated skin. I wish it wasn't so expensive because I am sold. ... show more

Clarins Nutri-Lumière Revive Day Cream targets mature and “sallow” skin. I have dry, sensitive and mature (55+) skin that can look dull. This purple cream (dye added) has a pleasing thick and creamy texture and makes my skin feel soft and silky. It absorbs well and isn’t heavy or greasy, but seems to have enough oil to make my skin look radiant after it’s applied (but my skin isn’t shiny). This provides just enough moisture that my skin looks fairly well hydrated, though I do need to pair this with other hydrating products. This cream helps with flakiness and smooths my skin. While my skin isn’t uncomfortable, this isn’t as soothing and comforting as my favorite creams. My skin does better with a richer, more hydrating cream. I do think this cream will be more compatible with my skin when the weather gets hotter, though I’ll likely reach for my Clarins Extra Firming Day Cream w/ SPF over this cream as I prefer the hydration and firming I get from it. I know many don’t like a rich day cream and needs and preferences do vary, so I’m only taking off 1/2 star for this being lighter weight than ideal for me. But I’m taking off another full star as I find the fragrance overly strong and it may even be why this isn’t as comforting as I prefer. I really love this moisturizer. It's obviously very pricy but it's super lightweight and hydrating. It feels very luxurious on your skin. Awesome moisturizer for everyday use.

This cream has a light pleasant scent which isn't overpowering. It glides onto and absorbs easily into the facial skin. It's not greasy, and leaves the skin feeling hydrated and smooth. Excellent cream to use day and night.

This makes the skin feel soft but the scent is slightly overpowering and i am not a fan. I looked at the ingredients and i know that clarins is a good quality product but the ingredients are all natural and the price is un-natural.

I have never used a face cream this expensive, I really wasn’t expecting to like it so much more than my $80 cream but this Clarins face cream has been really great for my skin. I have sandpaper cheeks, if I don’t exfoliate daily and moisturize twice a day my skin completely dries out and feels really rough. I’ve been using this face cream only in the mornings and it has made a considerable difference in the feel of my skin. And I’m not breaking out either which is wonderful. I do have a slight irritation in my eyes from this cream but it’s short lasting, and very tolerable. I do not care much for the scent of this Clarins face cream but otherwise I love it. ... show more
