These feel well made. Nice weight to them well painted/powder coated, and not too terribly hard to install. May need some help when putting the bolts from the boards onto the brackets. Wasn’t a fan of the red badge but thankfully these can be removed and painted or just removed if you would rather not have anything. I was looking for something to make it easier for my wife to get into my truck, and also provide a little protection from car doors in the parking lots. I didn't need true rock sliders, so I thought I'd give these a shot. I was very pleased when I opened the box. Everything was well packaged and undamaged, even though the box looked like it had been handled roughly. The parts were well marked, so it was easy to figure out where everything was supposed to go. Often times, the hardware that comes with these things is noticeably poor quality, but this hardware was satisfactory. Seems like it will hold up pretty well. The coating on the bars looks like it was applied very well. The finish was consistent on all surfaces and there were no chips or scratches on anything. No drilling was required - everything attached using factory holes. It probably took me about 45 minutes to install by myself. I did not care for the red accents and was pleased to find them removeable. The red painted metal plates are each held on with two 10mm nuts, split washers and flat washers - they were easy to remove. I had been doing a lot of research trying to find the right addition to my 2022 Tacoma. This caught my eye with the price, customer reviews and photos. I pulled the trigger and ordered. It shipped quickly and I installed them in about an hour and a half with the assistance of my wife. Super easy nothing complicated install with a few tools from the toolbox. Just needed her assistance supporting them when initially securing to the truck. They have been on now for about 3 weeks. They are perfect height for step in/out and look great on the truck. My particular truck has red lettering on it that happen to match the step lettering. Didn't plan that but accidentally cool. They are rock solid sturdy. I highly recommend this product. ... show more

They’re good looking good priced. My only gripe is that it does contain some sort of material inside the tubes. It’s not really a big deal. I’ve seen other guys just vacuum it out. I just didn’t feel like it.

The running boards were very easy to install and look great. They help with access to the truck, but don't collect mud like the previous solid running boards. The installation is much easier with two people. The running boards are not very heavy, but are awkward to place with just one person.

They went on quick once I understood the layout. Heads up, they are adjustable. You can slide them out further or closer to the vehicle before you torque them down. I have these installed on the truck for about a week now. I Can't tell you anything about sturdiness cause I haven't driven over rocks yet. Mine came with a small dent on the bottom of one of them (Nothing major), so my impression is that they will dent if you hit a rock but won't crumble. I installed them myself. Brackets are very easy to install and fit perfect in place. Just needed help when it was time to line and level them. They make the truck look more complete and better looking overall with these sliders than without them (See pics with and without). Both me and my passengers like that it's a lot easier getting in and out now that I have them. Also it's very convenient to put things on the roof rack. They feel very stable and secure.
