I liked the feel of the velvet. The pleats fall nicely around the piano. Good fit and construction. Because we have a cat who climbs, we put a blanket under the cover. It still looks nice. Only when you come up close do you notice the blanket underneath.

Don't know why it's a bit small for my Furich Grand 6-2". I think when you make a cover like this, you need to give is a couple of inches of slack to allow small differences. This one is a tight fit even a bit smaller.

The packaging was nice and it looks fine on the piano, but it was not as thick and plush as I had expected from the descriptions and reviews. I ordered the right size and it fits well. It's a good cover, but not worth even half the price. My advice is to try one of the cheaper ones because they're probably almost as good. ... show more

I never write reviews, but this product and company deserves kudos. I have been looking for a nice cover for my piano and have even ordered custom elsewhere. Never found the right thing. I didn’t have high hopes for this because frankly the photos customers have posted makes the product look frilly and cheap. Instead this cover is a lovely black velvet with a nice black underside and the ruffle edge is in excellent taste! I ordered the 6’1” for my 5’10” and it looks gorgeous! The feel of it is very velvety and soft. The keyboard cover is a nice touch as well. Bonus points for Francesca, the customer service rep, giving tips on how to fold it.
