I have a few messy buns I bought here on Amazon that I throw on for virtual meetings (I work remote). I wanted to try something new that wasn't quite so uptight looking. This one is a much better match for my hair (very highlighted dark ash blonde) - a little more variation would be a better total match but it looks real. There are wire/cord things inside of it that you can bend to your own tastes. At first I didn't realize that and bent them all around to try different looks - I was afraid they would show. They DO NOT at all, no matter how I style it - so versatile! I bend it up higher and out further for normal wear but closer in for work. My daughter (25) knows I wear the messy buns but she saw this one and said "wow mom, your hair looks so cute!". Claw is VERY strong, in fact a little difficult for me to open. It won't fall off ever. I wore it to work (in person) and I needed to adjust the prongs a few times throughout the day, but I absolutely love it and the claw didn't budge. I would like a little more color variation but the messy bun styles I've tried with highlights were TOO different in color for my hair (like brown and blonde chunks together). My natural hair in the front looks a little brassy in my pics, but it was right after highlighting. Some purple shampoo got a near-perfect match (I always tone a few times after highlighting because I hate brassy). I pull my own hair back into a tiny, tight bun and just clip this on. I pull a little hair over the top and bobby on it there and one on each side because I'm paranoid the clasp will show. It doesn't though, but it looks better that way to me. I'm going to buy a spare because I love it so much. Perfect length for what my hair would look like if I spent an hour poofing up my own pony. Buy it! I have thick hair and can hold and put anything in it. The clip was strong but the weight of the hair pulls everything down. No matter how high you clip it, how many pins you put in it to hold it in place it is just too heavy to stay in place. This hair piece is cute and I will keep it but it is not as nice as other brands of similar pricing. The clip is almost too large and It requires a little more fussing with to adjust the strands to hide the clip but once you do, it's cute. The wire in the hair itself is a fun option and you can mold it get a different look. The hair itself is a little on the shiny side, but a great option if you hair is a little dirty. Ha! My biggest complaint is that the hair is attached to the clip with zip ties and and there is not enough hair in the clip. It looks full because of the wires. I love the salt and pepper color that’s a perfect match for me. Clips in with flexible strands for perfect styling. A little shiny but fixed that with dry shampoo spray. I’m tempted to order another but don’t really need one as this one is very full. Looks natural.

Okay so when I bought this I didn't say anything about oh by the way there are at least four strands that look like pipe cleaners wrapped with hair so you can move it every other way which is nice to a degree but at the same time it's very heavy on your head if you're not used to it I don't even wear it I actually gave it away to the cancer department and my hometown because it was just too heavy I would not recommend it everything that was described with this is not correct having it being shorter and longer a little bit no that's not the case. ... show more
