I have a cup similar to this, so I was trying to find one close because they keep coffee hot for a while. This one is no exception. The lid seals well, I love the straw, and it really does keep liquids hot or cold for a long period of time. I know it says hand wash only, but I forgot and put it in the dishwasher and it’s still fine. Probably, over time, it would scratch or paint would crackle off if I continue to do that so I will try not to be lazy and just wash it. I very much enjoy this cup. It is well made and like much higher priced items. The problem is the lid is impossible to clean. The slider part of the lid is clear and get coffee stuck under it. I drink cream in my coffee and having a dairy product stuck under is gross. It inadvertently comes out in chunks, ewe. I literally soaked the lid for 3 days and it still had coffee trapped. I finally took a knife and popped off the slider seal so it could be cleaned. No longer spill proof but clean. ... show more

Not only gorgeous but it works well!!! Quality is nice, well made with what looks to be actual stainless steel not a cheap knock off stainless steel... the outer glittery teal color design is gorgeous!!! It makes me want to buy another as a back up at work in case I forgot to bring one. The size is perfect, I only drink ice water in this I don’t use hot liquids... mainly cause it’s too hot in Hawaii to drink anything hot so I use this for cold only. There ice surprisingly will last hours without melting... I often fill my cup with ice water and go about my day and as I need a drink I’ll drink... I’ve been noticing that the ice last so long... it does melt slowly and becomes drinking water but it last long, I’ve never had a cup that could hold ice as long as this cup! And we’re talking about not having the lid on most the times.. only when I leave the house with this cup do I put the lid on... around the house I am too lazy. So if the ice can last hours without the lid on I can only imagine it last extra long with the lid on. The cup fits in both my vehicles cup holders and the lid is leakproof. There has been so many times I dropped the cup on my seat or in my bag and it didn’t not leak through the sides. I didn’t have a straw in it yet, so the slide cap was closed. I do prefer to drink from the cap than a straw cause I’m too lazy to sanitize the straw after... All around this cup is a 10!! I have not run into any problems or issues!!
