These are a size up from the chart, which is typical for most brands of tights though these are bigger than expected, more like Hue going up 2 sizes. The fit a size up is good, relaxed but without scrunching or bunching but even with this relaxed, non taught fit they aren't nearly as opaque as our homes tights connoisseur would like, especially when it comes to black. Fit and feel are a solid 4 stars, the material has a nice enough feel but it's nothing special Opacity though is like 2.5 stars which maybe doesn't matter to some people so overall this is a 3.5 ... show more

As someone who is rough on her tights (think a "run" the first time I put them on), it's so far so good with these. I was sort of in between sizing on the chart (5'7", 135 lbs, size 6) so I got the S/M and they fit just fine. One thing to note is that the listing says they are microfiber, so they have a much more slippery feel to them than regular tights do. I almost slipped off the bed taking the photos! Now you probably will be wearing something over them, but these tights are thicker, and slicker, than any other tights I've ever worn. This may be a good thing...perhaps they will last longer. They did fine for the time I wore them around the house to test. I added a close up of a little glitch in the knit, so if you are picky about perfection, you might be disappointed. Personally, I doubt anyone will be that close to MY leg to notice! ... show more

Wow, these are a really great deal for the quality of tights you get. These are nice and durable and comfortable and will surely hold up for many wears. I am 5'9" and 150lbs and ordered the size XX-Large/3X because so many times hose are not long enough if I order according to the size chart. I'm glad I went with this size, and there's plenty of room to move and yank these up as high as I want. I will say I don't see a control top element, which I actually prefer. ... show more

These are just regular pantyhose. I am pretty sure I ordered according to the size chart provided on the list. I am 5'7" inches and ordered size S-M. However, looking at the listing now, it seems I should have ordered the L-XL size. I can't say for sure, but I feel like that must have been recently updated. I would not have ordered the smaller size if I had seen that chart. Anyway, they fit ok, but are not as opaque as I would like. I'm guessing that's because of the stretch and they'd likely be darker if I had the bigger size. They also don't offer much in the way of tummy control. These tights are super soft and the manufacturing quality is excellent. They truly are opaque and they have a smooth and consistent look. Sometimes when opaque tights aren’t made very well, they have a blotchy/inconsistent appearance. I ordered the S/M size and they didn’t have to stretch too much on my 5’4” and 125lb frame. If you are taller and/or heavier they would have to stretch more and would therefore lose some of their ‘opaqueness’. Just bear this in mind when selecting the size to order. These are very comfortable and easy to put on. They feel of good quality. I am 5"10 and got the L/XL pair and I suppose I could've even gotten a larger size. They are definitely still very see through on me, but maybe a bigger size would've been better in that aspect.

I am always searching for good-quality opaque black tights, as they are a staple in my wardrobe, and I wear them near-daily.
