As someone who is rough on her tights (think a "run" the first time I put them on), it's so far so good with these. I was sort of in between sizing on the chart (5'7", 135 lbs, size 6) so I got the S/M and they fit just fine. One thing to note is that the listing says they are microfiber, so they have a much more slippery feel to them than regular tights do. I almost slipped off the bed taking the photos! Now you probably will be wearing something over them, but these tights are thicker, and slicker, than any other tights I've ever worn. This may be a good thing...perhaps they will last longer. They did fine for the time I wore them around the house to test. I added a close up of a little glitch in the knit, so if you are picky about perfection, you might be disappointed. Personally, I doubt anyone will be that close to MY leg to notice! ... show more

Wow, these are a really great deal for the quality of tights you get. These are nice and durable and comfortable and will surely hold up for many wears. I am 5'9" and 150lbs and ordered the size XX-Large/3X because so many times hose are not long enough if I order according to the size chart. I'm glad I went with this size, and there's plenty of room to move and yank these up as high as I want. I will say I don't see a control top element, which I actually prefer. ... show more

These are very comfortable and easy to put on. They feel of good quality. I am 5"10 and got the L/XL pair and I suppose I could've even gotten a larger size. They are definitely still very see through on me, but maybe a bigger size would've been better in that aspect.

These tights are super soft and the manufacturing quality is excellent. They truly are opaque and they have a smooth and consistent look. Sometimes when opaque tights aren’t made very well, they have a blotchy/inconsistent appearance. I ordered the S/M size and they didn’t have to stretch too much on my 5’4” and 125lb frame. If you are taller and/or heavier they would have to stretch more and would therefore lose some of their ‘opaqueness’. Just bear this in mind when selecting the size to order. I live in a very northern part of the country, so I end up wearing tights three seasons a year. I am always searching for good-quality opaque black tights, as they are a staple in my wardrobe, and I wear them near-daily. Citystl's opaque black tights are a wonderful microfiber fabric that appears to fight off runs and snags and have a great overall opaque look. I love to wear tights with dresses and these were a great choice. They are 80 denier so a nice mid thickness, not too heavy, not too thin. They wear very well. They fit me perfectly and I am 5’10” and 145 pounds. I like that they are the right amount of density to not be super see through. I find them very comfortable to wear. I like these tights; they're not super thick, nor are they thin like panty hose. I ordered the small size, based on the size chart that was provided, and it fits well, felt good on my skin, and looked very nice, not shiny or very thick.
