You need to use wire to tie to the fence. The zip ties do not last. We just had 70 mph winds and it held up wonderfully with wire.

Ok, so on This side of my House, neighbor has privacy fence but, its old and besides, its the regular setup in which the picketts are stacked right next to each other... leaving considerable Gaps between each pickett, which as a whole makes it pretty visible accoss the privacy fence to the neighbors yard and viceversa.... I built my privacy fence on the other two sides with double pickett, so its super private... but buidling it on this side would take away so much space from my walk way I wanted to avoid that!... so, this was my solution. Check it out on the pics. 90% blockage is a sincere product description because I can definitely still see about 10% of the neighbors yard... but only in certain lighting... it is wonderful overall!... color is just right, it matches my other privacy fence, so it helps the yard look the same color... Right now i just hung it real quick.. I still need to tighnten up from the bottom and sides so I get the feel the I want when i'm done with my yard... I'll be back with more pics and talk about where the tarp is in terms of weather resistance and whatnot... ... show more

We installed for privacy on our wooded fence. The product was longer than I thought and did the job better than I thought.. Great quality and we appreciated the grommet holes pre made so we could installed over the nails. It worked perfectly in length for our fence and when the sun hits on that other side of neighbors it blocks the wood fence spaces/gaps on our side completely for privacy. It’s a light mesh but if you need complete-no-see through or for bigger gaps on fence or something else if you double this one it will do the job. The color worked great for our recently painted a dark brown stained fence since the mesh is a combination of bleach and brown which blends nicely. The media could not be loaded. Edit: I've had this up for almost six months now. The damaged grommets so far have not had any impact on the product. This thing is working great for what I am using it for. Keeps 99 percent of the weather out of my carport with only a breeze going through. Still holding up strong. I put this around my open carport. It did come with 5 of the grommets damaged like the machine didn't stamp them correctly. So that's a strike on qc. So one star off for that. I just hope it doesn't effect the long term of the product. Just put it up right before a big storm. It barely moved in the high winds. Some water did get through as to be expected, but not nearly as much as without it. Kept out all the debris. I am pleased so far with its functionality. I really hope it holds up for a long time. I also like how I can see out it but you can't see In, or at least not really for the most part. In all, I am happy on the first day. ... show more
