I could see clearly through it from my neighbor's yard and everything in their yard and vice-versa. It was easy to put up, but not as sturdy as I thought it would be. This privacy screen is manufactured with great durability, though it would not seem so. The product has endured 3 months of Autumn and Winter weather, in as great of a condition as when I installed it. The screen does not provide full privacy, instead it obscures, but an onlooker, can still generally see the other side. The product is best used, when doubled up. Which still allows air movement through the screen. I've used several of these, to create a privacy perimeter around our yard. And a few more to finish the work. With good care, these screens, will last at least 3 to 5 years, before weathering wears them down. Which is of great value at the price point. ... show more

It looks the same when you're just looking at this compared to another couple, one along a fence line and another just laid out. But this one has higher blocking than either one when they're in pre-hanging position so I'm thinking they're a little thicker and maybe the netting stuff is tighter or something because it's a good 1/3 less see thru in the sunniest part of the day. At some angles it gives complete privacy so that's a huge benefit to me. It's extremely easy to put up. There's grommets that are reinforced so they don't tear, every 2 feet both directions. If you don't have fencing to attach them all to you can attach about every third one (of the grommets or sections) and it's as sturdy and tight. It may give a little room for squirrels and small creatures to get through if not attached as often, but that's to be expected when you're putting up anything that's 100 feet and not reinforcing it consistently but it'll hang well. It's as simple as pulling a ziptie to secure it which are included. I'd recommend top crossbars at least every few sections if you're putting it up without or where it's higher than the fence. Just a 2x4 or even 1x2 works but you notice a little sag if not. Where I have it as a guide, just temporarily up I have that issue because it's only privacy fence on one side but by making a small, simple reinforcement frame it's simple enough and this helps with the stability of that like they stabilize each other. Or we may also run either a small post or board along the bottom crossing the rest alternating where it fully attaches since the bottom is as simple as adding it, no need to concoct a frame. Either way no more sag and with very little cost. It's stretchy only to the degree you want it to be. Durable and heavy duty, sturdy. Reinforced edges, corners and grommets. ... show more

I wrapped this privacy fence screen around 3 sides of my pergola and had 20 feet left so I cut it and installed it on the roof of the pergola. Not only does this limit the sun rays entering but it gives us some privacy from our neighbors. It does come with zip ties but I didn't use them for my install. I am an Amazon Vine reviewer and I did receive this product free for an HONEST review. I am reviewing the CIELO COLORIDO 6' x 50' Beige Fence Privacy Screen. I chose this item because I live in Arizona and it's very difficult to grow plants here because the sun is so hot and just fries everything. This shade cloth has a really tight weave which has been working well to protect my younger plants and an area that gets both southern and western exposure, so this is the part of my yard that gets the most and the hottest sun throughout the day. Granted, we are going into fall, so this shade cloth has not been put through the test in an Arizona summer, that's going to have to wait until next year. I do plan on putting this up and my other garden areas to protect my plants from the sun. I have several garden areas that needs protection from the southern facing sun. I stretched out the shade cloth as wide as I could when I opened the package and the height measured just under 6 feet. Obviously I didn't roll out all 50 feet of this to measure it, when I received it it was folded over into what looks like approximately equal quarters. I did my best to stretch that out and measure and that came to about 141 inches and multiply that by 4 you get 47 feet, with a lot of folds and wrinkles. That is definitely an imperfect measurement my guess would be this is closer to 50 feet. I do expect there to be a discrepancy between the actual statement of 6 foot by 50 foot, as for whatever reason every single product sold, even down to a 4x4 does not measure the stated size. I think this product is very close to the actual 6 foot by 50 foot. I only rolled out as much as I needed to cover the front of the bed shown in my picture and then cut it to the size that I needed. This fabric does cut easily, but I would recommend doing it outdoors as it does shed quite a bit while it's being cut. I'm not 100% sure on how well this would do left unbound on the cut sides, so I did sew some fabric over the side that I cut to decrease any risk of unraveling over time. The black canvas that comes pre-sewn on each side of the fabric seems sewn on very well and seems very durable. The grommets appear to be very strong metal grommets, they don't appear to be the weaker aluminum type and they seem seated in the canvas very well. This appears to be a higher quality of shade cloth/privacy screening. For now I am going to give this five stars and I will try my hardest to remember to come back after next summer to re review this product and give an update on how it holds up in the Arizona sun. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family that garden, or even for use as a privacy screening or shade sail. The grommets make it super easy to attach to fencing or posts.
