If you are on the petite size such as I am (5’1”), you will be happy with this top’s length. Tucked or not, it drapes very well. Actually it rolls under and stays put, no tucking required. I am short-waisted so a big plus for me. Although the sleeves are wing-like, they can be pushed up. With the bit of nylon, you do get some stretch. So, sleeves also will stay put. The fabric is a mid-weight. That including the style make this cropped top versatile for most seasons, worn as casual wear or in office environment. Oh and the turtleneck was not confining. I think this turtleneck is pretty stylish, and you'd need to be pretty fashion minded to pull this off, but the turtleneck itself is well constructed, feels really nice, and is a fun unique design that my wife hadn't tried before. Our biggest take away, is that with the "batwing" sleeve design, you sacrifice some comfort/modesty for style. My wife found that while lifting up our children, the bottom of the sweater would lift as well, quite a bit, showing a lot of midriff. As I mentioned, if you have the confidence to pull off a garment where that is a common occurrence, then that is the only "downside" that we saw. I am very impressed with the quality and elegant look of this sweater. I am petite and fitting is perfect - oversized but not too loose. The small size falls just above my waist. The fabric is very soft and breathable, making it ideal for layering during fall and winter. The turtle neck can be folded down and it isn't too tight or suffocating. I style this with jeans and leggings for informal occasions and have dressed it up with business casual wear. The sweater sleeves are pretty structured so they don't ride up or hang loose. My wife loves a good sweater for Fall, so she was excited to get this sweater to wear. But when she opened the package, and held up the sweater it seemed like a cropped sweater. Definitely not what she thought she was getting. I’m not 100% sure how I feel about this sweater yet. The material is soft, warm, and it feels well-made. The color is pretty and it is flattering, BUT I do not feel like the description is completely accurate. I sized up because I like a looser fit, and my sweater is still VERY cropped. I had a sweater of similar shape. This one fits similarly but is sleeve is more connected to the bottom of sweater. Think of it like a flying squirrel. It looks really good on. I am petite and it hits below my waist but is still a short top. There is plenty of around the middle section. There is a lot of stretch. Says to hand wash. My wife likes this sweater, especially with the cold weather starting to arrive. She likes the quality of the materials and certainly seems to keep her warm. The only issue she had was the sleeves were too long for her, not the sweaters fault but just the fit for her.
