I bought three of these and put them in each of my toilet bowls. Before this product, I swear our toilets would get yellow stains within a week... We recently moved into a new place and it must be the hard water. I did a bunch of research and decided on these because they are low maintenance, last a long time (the tablets), and it puts the tablet water directly to the toilet bowl rather than in the tank where it could sit and damage parts. Saw these in a Youtube short, and finally found them. I wish I had know this was a thing sooner! They are amazing and really work, without destroying the tank parts. Just be sure to get the "low odor" replacement tabs! The chlorine smell can be powerful!

This is a simple setup provided that you do not have any extra stuff in your toilet. Plug one end into the water output, and clip the other to the hole for the bowl. Clip the case to the back and drop in some tablets. There is no cartridge, so it is easy to buy off the shelf bulk tablets that may fit. Lesson learned: do not use with the dual flush system. It does not work and degrades the system quickly. But a standard flush it works perfectly. If you have vey hard water you may notice brown streaks in the toilet. Clean these up before they stain! Get yourself a water softener and this will prolong times between cleanings. It does NOT work well in hard water environments, and does not remove existing hard water rings. Sorry, you must scrub your toilet clean before you start using this....it is not a miracle for the lazy, but it does help us lazy folks out! Reality: you can easily fashion this on your own for half the cost or less. But you will miss out on the nice purple lid! ... show more

I had avoided bleach tablets that you place in the toilet tank in the past because they cause the flapper to degrade quickly, leading to noisy running toilets until I would break down and replace the flapper. That wasted time and money. That is, until a friend told me about this system. Because the bleach water is sent directly into the bowl fill / overflow tube, there is no issue with corrosion of the flush components or tank bolts. Installation was quick and easy, as is filling / refilling the container. The only two small issues I have with the system are: It does produce a moderately strong bleach odor after you flush, and At about $5 per refill, the refill packs are significantly more expensive than even name brand tablets that go in the tank, but I haven't been able to find an alternative that is appropriately sized, and I'm not keen on the idea of trying to take a standard tank tablet and trim it to fit in the Kaboom dispenser. ... show more

These are a great idea. I used ut put bleach tablets in the tank but that eventually destroyed the innards of the toilet tank on an accelerated basis. With this device the bleach bypasses the innards of the tank and is deposited only in the water as it enters the tank. Brilliant and effective! The cost of the refills is excessive! ... show more

It all depends on your toilet. In some cases it’s easy to put on. In my case I had easy and hard. The tubes don’t slip on easy at all. Depending on your make of roller i you may need to modify the placement of the dispenser in side the tank so the lid will sit properly. So don’t buy unless you’re willing to work these things out. If you are then it’s great. If you think it will be hassle free installation maybe choose a different product. ... show more

Unique delivery of chlorine. Have used discs and tablets over the years to have them 'disappear' or dissolve in just a few weeks. Been using for 5 months. Had to refill for first time beginning of April. They recommend 3 months but if that bathroom isn't used many times a day the tablets last longer. Tabs are not constantly in water. Game changer for us with minerals that create that ring. No more ring. Only suggestion is that Kaboom revamp hanging system because thickness of clip slightly prevents tank lid from fitting snugly. ... show more
