Makes wiping down walls easy. I use a spray wall cleaner with these. The pads are washable but it is better to have an extra on hand. My husband didn’t think they worked as well on baseboards, but worked well in the walls.

I am so disgusted with this item. I used it today. I had to tape the handle, due to any push/force the handle would collapse. The head would flip around, cleaning ceilings. I regret purchasing this item. They need to go back to the drawing board. The concept is good - it needs to be improved. This is my original review based on the item. Yesterday, I received a NEW MODIFIED IMPROVED TOOL. I cannot express to you how much this company cares about their customers and their products. They have totally improved this item and it does as it says. They modified both the pole and the head so there is no more collapsing or flipping around of the head. It truly has improved 100 percent - the concept was wonderful, and now it works as it was intended. The pole is heavier - and stays locked - and it is not heavy. The pad now has a nut screw and secures the head in place, it makes the ease of cleaning the ceiling very smooth and easy.     • Love and hate relationship with this mop

It does what you expect, it didn’t surprise me. There’s a lot of love and hate with this mop, but I don’t regret buying it simply because I don’t think there’s anything else significantly better in terms of a mop for the walls and ceilings. The love: the duster is great at removing dust off the door, baseboard, and walls - especially for my high vault ceiling which is the highlight of this mop. For the wet mop, it works well if you have a large area you just want to generally wipe for cleanliness. Works great if you have smooth surfaces/wall (non-textured). The hate: the screwing on the mop head and the extension handles keeps coming undone when I’m trying to scrub hard with it. The wet mop itself doesn’t slide smoothly on my textured walls when I’m cleaning the edges/corners - it flips and flops, so you gotta work extra hard to clean than expected. Because I have textured walls, the wet mop doesn’t remove harsh stained areas that well - I had to get Mr clean magic eraser to do the job, then use the wet mop to remove the residues. Although, on smooth non-textured surfaces it works like a charm. ... show more

This is a VERY nice mop for wall cleaning. I've tried various different mops and methods for removing fly swatter bug stains and other wall marks and used Mr. Clean Magic Erasers for small areas, but needed something for larger areas that could reach all the way up walls, those in the stairwell specifically. It may be designed to clean walls before painting, but I found more than one use for it, and it can double as a dust mop as well. This product is truly perfect for several uses, and even comes with a 'squeezing tray' which sits nicely onto a 5 gallon bucket to press the mop against to remove excess water before lifting the mop to your walls. If like me you don't have a 5 gallon bucket, the squeezing tray will work sitting on the bottom of your sink also as it's designed to sit off a flat surface as well. The pole is sturdy and screws into the mophead base with a two way up and down swivel joint as well as a two way back and forth pivot for easy mobility while in use. The mop mitt is made of microfiber and durable polyester which stretches over the mop head for attachment, so easy to do. The mophead is designed with one pointed area to reach deep into corners. Today I called Chomp and asked if they had replacement mop mitts and they were super nice on the phone and said they will be adding them to Amazon's site soon. For my trouble they offered to send me an extra mitt set which was extremely generous and makes me think that not only do they have a great product, but company and employees as well. If you are also looking for a great wall mop and cleaner, this might be the one for you too, and at this price it's an affordable option. Chomp also makes a liquid wall cleaner which 'can' be left on, but is recommended to wash off before painting if this is your intention. I was looking for a ceiling/wall mop to wipe the water condensation from hot showers. This is the perfect mop for that purpose. The metal handle is well made. The mop wipes well and can be washed in the machine. I store it in my bathroom to use after hot showers and to avoid mildew.
