Last week our order came. We washed them in the dishwasher. Next morning pored juice in for breakfast. Right off the bat we noticed one was leaking. Changed glasses. Turned the glass over and there it was, a crack on 5he bottom. The crack was the same as previously picture posted earlier by another person It is a manufacturing defect. There is no way to contact Amazon for replacement of just one glass. So we are SOL with that one. We have the whole set and like them. Just this one was defective and we are stuck with it. We’ve been breaking a lot of glasses lately, so we decided to buy non-glass cups to replace them. These exceeded our expectations. There is no condensation on the outside of the cups when drinking cold beverages, which is nice. No slipping! They also don’t leave rings on the table when someone forgets to use a coaster. I wanted to avoid clear plastic cups because they get old looking so quickly. These cups were the perfect choice. We wash them in the dishwasher and have had no issues. Update- that cup had the slightest crack. No clue how the crack also made the cup sweat so badly but the others don’t sweat and no other cracks so no complaints. These give off a vibe of belonging in a hospital with their muted colors which is fine just not pretty. They went through the dishwasher fine and I don’t notice the wheat smell mentioned but they sweat like crazy. There is so much condensation from anything cold that the cup actually leaves a puddle Anywhere I put it. Not ideal for delicate surfaces. I even tried a coaster but the sweat puddle pours off the coaster. ... show more

I really loved this set when I first bought them. They are clean and seem to be environmentally friendly. However, after I use them for 2 months, one of them started to leak and I realized it was because I accidentally dropped them on the floor and I had to throw it away. I even don't know whether they can be tossed in a recycle bin since it's not clear what the material is. I did not expect plastic ones to be so fragile. The other thing I am concerned is whether they can stay clean after a sustained usage, because some parts of the inner surface seems darker than before and I could not tell if it is natural or some dirt that stayed on and could not be removed. I am overall satisfied with the purchase, but if I had another chance I might go with something more expensive since the "environmentally friendly material" is probably just marketing strategy.. ... show more

    • Are these really Choary?
I have bought other Choary brand cups before and my family loves them. When I opened the box I wasn't sure if I had been sent off brand look a like cups. The box did not have the brand Choary anywhere on it and the tops of the cups had small rough spots. My other cups from this brand did not have these spots. I almost returned them as they are expensive. These cups look more like a set you can get at a local discount store. I gave them 3 stars as they are blue, washable tumblers. I'm just not sure they are Wheat Straw Biodegradable cups. ... show more
