    • it works but the question I had is WHY does it work!
This spring is weird. So First you have to figure out where it goes. directions say same side as the hinges. Then you figure out your angle does the top point to the left or right? then lets' say you figure that out, then you have this little stick-like metal tool that you have to put into the holes at the top of the spring and turn it to tighten the spring and when you can't tighten anymore you insert a metal plug in the hole. It all feels precarious and frankly, dangerous but it seems to work and that's what I bought it for. I will follow up if this changes. ... show more
