I have a couple of online shops and gift-wrap many of the orders, plus I love to go all out on holiday and birthday wrapping. I’ve had my eye on this style of ribbon for some time now and I’m glad I finally tried it. The price makes it a bit out of reach for everyday use, but it’s so beautiful it would be worth it to elevate special gifts. The soft, sheerness of the fabric and frayed edges bring a lovely, romantic feel. There is some stretch to the ribbon as well; it would be perfect for wrapping hand tied bouquets and other wedding or baby shower decorations. The adhesive wax seals are a nice addition, though IMO not as nice as the real thing - which of course take A LOT more time and effort. For the photo I melted one down and used my own stamp to show how the sheerness of the fabric allows a traditional wax seal to penetrate the ribbon and still make a functional seal despite not covering the edges. Above the seal you can see a single layer of ribbon, and below are two where it drapes over itself; I hope it helps depict the level sheerness. *Update* I’ve added a photo using darker wrapping paper and the cream color ribbon to help depict sheerness. ... show more

Oh the colors I ordered are gorgeous for these ribbons. The ribbons themselves are extremely soft and pliable. I got them to create bows for holiday gift wrapping although I can envision them being used for other decorating purposes.

I've been waiting to use these since August! I'm so glad we're finally in November, these ribbons are absolutely stunning! The colors are rich and so in tune with fall, and the wax seal stickers pair so well with them. I love using wax seal stickers over the actual wax seals, and the adhesive lasts a long time!
