The assembly is perfect, the included bulb is a tired yellow bulb. I suggest replacing with LED

    • Not perfect
Lights aren’t set properly, meaning they do not line up parallel with the grill, so they look crooked. The drivers side seemed to be much worse. These were installed on a ln ‘04 Tahoe with no prior accident damage & the original stock lights lined up fine so it’s definitely an issue with the quality of these lights. I was V able to spend some time adjusting them & modifying them to get them almost perfect which included a heat gun for the drivers side, but it took some time. Are all of them this far off? Not sure… I would think not but am only sharing my experience. ... show more

These are cheap plastic, just like the originals, they fit the same, and are easy to install. Just like the original fog lamp assemblys, they shake, wiggle and flop about, providing just enough glare to annoy oncoming drivers, and let them KNOW you have FOG lights on. I leave mine on all the time, and use the aftermarket YELLOW LED bulbs for maximum effect. You should too. ... show more

    • Not recommended, for LED's.
I have not installed them as yet due to time. Upon inspecting the housing I instantly saw the "bayonet" style light bulb pattern for a #899 light bulb is "mirrored" from one light to the other! So, if you intend on installing LEDs, like I am, the lights don't work the same! One light is close to fine. Meaning the bayonet pattern isn't perfect. If you tighten the light bulb to the stop, the bulb isn't perpendicular to the light reflector, impairing the beam pattern. In my case I will have to tighten the bulb until it is perpendicular the the reflector, and maybe add a large dab of silicone to keep it from loosening over time, providing it fits my '03 Tahoe. If they don't fit, they go back! Now, the light that is WRONG (mirrored)... Fortunately, the QC at this factory is typical and the tolerances for the light base are so loose, that I can actually, ...easily install the light completely wrong, and while not concentric in the light housing, I can make it perpendicular to the housing. I will still have to glue it' but that will probably make the LEDs work in these fog lights. The reflector silvering is all over my living room carpet too! Haven't looked too closely to where those chips of silver are coming from, maybe just slag. In a nutshell, I wouldn't buy 'em, or try to use them, if I weren't pressed for time. I have a trip coming right up! I would not recommend these to anyone based on the QC, and mirrored pattern! Three stars is generous... ... show more
