We bought this for our slush buisness. When we travel to parties we needed a freezer that could get set to 16-19 degrees for slush. We had out first party today and it performed really well. The sides did get really warm but the slush inside stayed perfect. When we serve the lid is open for a while so that may have been why it got warm on the outside.     • Exactly what I was looking for!
Just received 2 days ago. Packaging was great. I put it in place and then let it sit for 24 hours before plugging it in and turning it on. I set the temperature to freeze, waited a couple of hours and then put a couple small packages of ground beef in the baskets. Checked them about an hour later and they were frozen solid. I then transferred a few items into it from my other freezer. I checked everything this morning and everything is frozen solid, exactly as I hoped. The only issue I had was that the manual that was included was for a different freezer. It didn't matter though as the instructions for setting the temperature are printed on the freezer right next to the temperature control. It runs very quietly and actually has more room inside than I expected. All in all I am very pleased with this freezer and would highly recommend it. ... show more

    • Smashed up pretty badly when I received it.
The whole corner with the control panel was smashed when I opened the box. Additionally, there was a dent on the side of the lid. Returned it.

When the unit arrived the shipping box had no visible damage. When we opened the carton the front of the main unit near the temperature control was dented as well as the front of the lid. We plugged it in and tested both temperature and lid seal. Everything worked and we decided no to seek a replacement because too much of a gamble with shipping damage. ... show more
