Description

Water spots are the mineral stains left over after a drop of water evaporates. Chemical Guys Heavy Duty Water Spot Remover uses basic chemistry to remove water spot stains and restore a spot-free shine. The specialty gel neutralizes alkaline stains with a mild acid, removing the stuck-on water stain quickly and effortlessly. If alkaline water spots are not removed quickly, the minerals can react with the paintwork and cause permanent etch marks that cannot be repaired. Heavy Duty Water Spot Remover is perfect for removing stubborn water spots from paintwork, polished metal, and wheels before they can etch deep into the surface and cause irreversible damage. Use Heavy Duty Water Spot Gel to remove water stains from lawn sprinklers, rain, puddle splashes, drain and gutter drips, bad car drying methods, and more. Simply work a small amount of Water Spot Gel into the area to neutralize and melt stuck-on water spots off the surface. Rinse down the area with soap and water or detail spray, then reapply wax and sealant to safeguard against future water spot damage. Erase water spot stains with Chemical Guys Heavy Duty Water Spot Remover Gel.

  • Works great on glass
Style: SPOT REMOVER
This gel worked perfect on glass! Had stubborn water spots that wouldn’t come off. I took it to a detailing shop and they wanted to charge me $200 because they needed to “polish” the glass. I ended up trying this gel first and I’m glad I did. It took all of the spots right off! My glass looks new now and it only took about 10 minutes per window. Don’t apply it in direct sunlight though. And work in small areas, I highly recommend it ... show more

  • Removed water spots and embedded dirt
Style: SPOT REMOVER
I'm frankly surprised this stuff works as well as it does. It took a good deal of elbow grease, but I'm taking it a few square feet at a time. Eventually, I was able to completely remove the hard water spots and embedded dirt from parking next to the sprinklers for a few months. I do suggest being careful to not leave it on for too long (and neutralize it with soapy wooder.) I also noticed some very light orange stains that I eventually removed with some sanitizing wipes. Still, it's infinitely better than it was, and worked equally well on the car's paint, hubcaps, and windows/mirrors. I think I'm be able to finish the one side of the car that has the spots with a single bottle, but I'd but this product again if we're stupid enough to park by the sprinklers again. (Attached pictures show the type of water spots and dirt I was dealing with, a partially cleaned door, small section of cleaned hubcap, and a fully cleaned door. I've obviously got a lot more work to do, but I don't think it'd be possible without a product like this.) ... show more

  • Excellent - removes water marks entirely.
Style: SPOT REMOVER
My husband was upset at the water spots on our cars from sprinklers (very hard water) while we had to use the garage for storage. Nothing seemed to remove them so we ordered this and it worked so well. He was worried about paint damage but seems we got the water spots off on time and the cars looks perfect now. Easy to use though takes some time if following the directions accurately. Worth it. ... show more

  • Hey this actually works, sort of
Style: SPOT REMOVER
I was a little skeptical buying this product since I read the 1 star reviews and it either didn't work at all for some people or left a permanent cloudy glass for folks that used it on their showers. Well I wasn't using it on my shower, I have a car where the left side has been hit by sprinklers for years. I had tried vinegar, I tried lemon juice. Those home remedies did absolutely nothing. These water spots wouldn't budge even the slightest and it was really annoying me. I decided to give this product a shot. I followed the instructions and even bought their microfiber applicator to use it. To my delight it actually removed some of the water spots! One thing to note though, you really should only do a few inches at a time. And this is because when you get tired you can stop. If you do the whole window then you'd best not leave the product on in it's waxy state for too long, since some folks said they couldn't get it off and there is no recommendation for how long the product should stay on the glass. So do it in small sections. Be prepared to use a lot of elbow grease. It's not easy getting the film off once it dries and I had to smash that microfiber into the glass like an eraser to rub that film off. But underneath it is mostly clear glass. I've done about 3-4 continuous treatments on the windows and all but the most stubborn spots are gone. There are still some spots remaining which is why I'm giving this is 4/5. But this is the only thing I've tried which even comes close to clearing the windows. ... show more

  • Water spot remover
Style: SPOT REMOVER
I tried this on my car first with heavy water spots and it didn’t work. Then i tried it on my Nissan rogue that has light water spots and it did work. So in the end it works on newer water spots but so far not on older heavier spots that have been on paint for a few years.

  • Works 1000%
Style: SPOT REMOVER
I have OCD, so things like water spots irritate me. Anyways, I was silly enough to wash my truck in the middle of the day and I added some ceramic high foam soap to my water bucket. It evaporsted to quickly in was immediately left with nasty water spots. No big deal, I'll wait until the evening and wash it again. The water spots were so bad, no amount of elbow grease was getting rid of them. I had literally nasty baked streaks. My vehicle is a 2022 black f250, and I was panicking. A search online lead me to this product. It worked wonderfully, am happy. Well done Chemical Guys. Shines bright like a diamond. ... show more

  • Works well, smells pretty bad
Style: SPOT REMOVER
I have learned that it is very difficult to take pictures of water spots but this product does seem to work well. How long will it last? Don't know. The first image is an untreated window, you can see some water spots at the top, and the second is after. It does leave some streaks that are only visible when the water is sheeting off. It smells bad. I have soap from their company that smells just like grape soda so I thought this would smell citrusy, but no, it has a very heavy chemical smell that is lingering on my hands. Maybe gloves are a good idea if you're sensitive to that like me. The product is thick, it spreads evenly, and seems to be ok even if the surface is a little bit wet. I just rinsed thoroughly with water to get the residual product off, did not rewash or use another product. I'll try to remember to update in a week or so about how well it lasts. ... show more
