After my daughter’s summer in Alaska and 10,000 mile round-trip, the engine bay of her car was filthy. I did a little research and stumbled across a Chemical Guys video. Pretty simple DIY. Orange Degreaser followed by Citrus Wash & Gloss, and a wheelie brush, if necessary. I simply removed the car’s battery, covered the alternator, wet the engine compartment, applied Orange Degreaser from a spray bottle, used a wheelie brush where necessary, foam cannoned Citrus Wash & Gloss all over, rinsed, and used a leaf blower to air dry. The Orange Degreaser and Cirus Wash & Gloss made this a very simple task. Virtually no scrubbing was required. I bought this to clean both my grill and my car's exhaust. It works great on the grill, old dried on caked stuff and grease wipes off with a sponge. If it's very thick I'd recommend scraping/brushing first. Let it sit about a minute and it wipes right off. The odor is not very citrus-y, in fact its very strong overpowering chemical smell so I'd recommend outdoor use only. I ended up using it in my oven as well since it worked so great on the grill and doesn't smell as toxic as those spray oven cleaner cans of death. It worked fabulously and took off residue from previous oven cleaning attempts. As far as the exhaust goes, I wanted to spiff up the stainless steel and chrome tip. It didn't quite get the results I wanted but after several attempts and using Blue Magic polish cream I realized that age and neglect were mostly to blame from before I got the car. Still took a lot of gunk off. Would recommend, but as others have stated, it's very liquidy and runs off due to low viscosity so there's a lot of waste and a bottle doesn't last long. I'm still deciding if I'll keep using this or Car Guys Ultimate cleaner which has far better odor. See pics for before and after grill pics ... show more

I did not take before pics as I thought, well, how good can this be? Ummm, amazing!!!! I sprayed and left it for a minute and scrub with soft pad. Omg, my stove has never been so shiny. It even restored my sink’s basin to a sparkling shine I thought was unachievable. Restored cabinets with built up grease. I did not dilute peri instructions as the gunk was thick. But This is very potent and should be diluted where appropriate. ... show more

I haven’t even used this product, so I won’t comment on its effectiveness (yet), but straight off the bat, while reading the directions I noticed that it “should be diluted to a 6:1 ratio.” So what is the point of it being in a spray bottle if I still need to go measure to achieve a 6:1? Concentrates shouldn’t be sold in spray bottles. Period. ... show more
