The media could not be loaded. We bought this unit for one reason. The temp probe. Imagine the shock when my wife searched both boxes, all the contents and not find the temp probe. I double-checked everything. Probe be like: Find me, son! Called Amazing support. They credited me $20 to buy a new external temp probe. I was ok with that, but the investigative journalist I am, I reached out to Chefman directly. The following day, Chefman emailed and gave me 4 tips. Just took no. 1. On the bottom of the unit, there’s a small compartment that isn’t easy to spot. Inside the compartment? Yepp. The elusive temptation probe! Haven’t used the Exactemp yet, but planning on cooking with it this even. I’m giving it a provisional 4 out of 5 stars, because the average consumer wouldn’t jump through the hoops I did to discover a viable solution. It should be displayed on this page, on the box and on the registration card that the probe is there, and not have to play a game of “Where’s Waldo” to find it. Stay tuned, folks!     • No probe arrived - door is not removable - plastic is burning and stinking up house when operating
There is no probe or probe holder as described in instructions and on website - there is a probe port. The door is supposed to be removable by sliding to side, but there is a non-removable plastic clip that prohibits this. Plugged it in - all packaging etc. removed - smells like burning plastic. total hazard. ... show more

Any grease /debris falls past the heating elements and onto a removable tray, or onto the element. The tray can be mostly kept clean however the elements not so much.

I bought this after my old air fryer stopped working. This one was a lot quieter compared to my last. I love all the options it has. It counts down, like most do, but this one gives you a 5min warning. It large and comes with 3 racks. I love the option for the temperature probe, although I’ll probably never use it.
