  • Quote me and I'll deny it, but I'm in love with a Fridge Fork
It's the little things in life, right? In this case, a little and ridiculous thing. But this Fridge Fork is so well designed-- who knew there was design even in something like this?-- it gives me pleasure each time I use it, especially since, in my experience, so may things are so poorly designed (again, even little, absurdly simple or absurd things). They had me from hello-- or at least, from the fact that they thought to include a little rubber ring to go around small bottles, as well as the primary, larger ring. This was the beginning of my feelings of love for this Fridge Fork, kind of like when you're on a first date and the guy does something thoughtful that not every guy does, that shows he's really paying attention to you and what you might need... like Sir Walter Raleigh's cape caper, but not so flashy. Those rings: not, as one has experienced only too often with such supposedly stretchable, fitable gewgaws, too tight to get on without feeling like a WW-whatever-it-is wrestling match, and not so loose or easily stretched out as to become useless after being put on a few jars. Then there was the fact that the back of the fork curves the same way as the rubber holder which, though it could have been otherwise with no problem, just makes it easier to decide/know which way to replace it after each use, and which I also just find...pleasing, irrelevant though it maybe be. I guess it's because, again...thoughtful. It could just as easily been, say, a generic rectangle it fit into. Another example of something that could have, but didn't, go wrong-- though in my experience, similar things often do: the opening for the fork handle is also thoughtfully, and perfectly, sized. It's not so small that fitting the handle in is a rhythm-breaker or an annoyance, and not so big that there's a danger of its falling out. Well, I'd love to stay and yak on about this, but I have a date with a FridgeFork and, well...you know...love. ... show more

  • Works Great!
No more pickle fishing. Great sharp tines that'll gig those evasive olives at the bottom of the jar.

  • Works exactly as it says
Got this for my husband who loves pickles. I am not a fan of sticking fingers in the jar. He may or may not be guilty ;) but I know men... This little gadget is perfect. It fits perfectly on the small jars (it comes with 2 sizes) and is not bulky or gets in the way. The fork part is very sharp and easily grabs the pickles. The pouch is sized with plenty of room for drips and holds the fork great without it dangling. It does have a gripper that also aids in holding the fork up top, so everything is very secure. I only gave 4 stars because we've only been using a few weeks and I can't comment on the durability or longevity of it. Overall we are very pleased with the quality and price. It is a convenient and useful gadget. And I personally like the peace of mind it gives me. We've only used on small and medium sized pickles. I don't know how it will work for the larger whole dill pickles. ... show more

  • Love this
Best invention since the canning of pickles

  • Makes Sense
I didn't know I needed this until I did. Got tired of always looking for something other than my fingers to dig in the pickle jar to get a cool and refreshing treat. Plus, I knew if I was using my fingers than 9 times out of 10 my grands were doing the same thing. And trust me, I've witnessed probably only half of what they do. Ugh. Just thinking about it, makes you kind of sick. Anyway, love this item. The best part is that I no longer have to look for anything because the three pronged folk is always with the pickle jar. It's easy to clean. In addition, the band doesn't interfere with either the opening or closing of the jar. I didn't know that I needed this, but I'm extremely glad I got it! I would recommend this to anyone that is tired of licking pickle juice off your fingers before you even bite into your crunchy goodness. ... show more
