I bought these balls when I recently started playing lacrosse recreationally after not playing since early high school. I have never had a bad experience with Champion, and I'm happy to say that still holds true. The six balls came with a small mesh bag, which is the perfect size to bring a few balls along anywhere. When I first opened the plastic they were in, it was apparent they smelled nearly rancid, but that was quickly remedied by simply using them; they quickly lost their stink after a few shots. I am very pleased with the bright colors and how well they have maintained their "glow" even after decent use. This is super important to ne because I tend to have a hard time finding my wild misses, but the bright colors have so far proven fool proof. These balls are a great, efficient way to heal. I got these at the recommendation of a martial arts instructor and physical therapist, and have really appreciated their functionality. Important to set boundaries if you have dogs. I'm amused that scent is one of the things we can rate...they are pleasant for sure, not too plastic smelling. Gotta warn you, right out of the package, these things REEK. I used hand sanitizer to bathe them. I hand them out to clients for self care with trigger point therapy. Maybe the smell is ok if you use them for lacrosse, but it is definitely strong.

My 3 year old Shepherd pup tore up dozens of tennis balls before I discovered these tough balls. The size is great - not too small to pose a real choking hazard and not too big for him (although that would be huge) But most importantly, he hasn't destroyed them, he's barely put a dent in them. They make a great fetch toy that works well with my Chuckit thrower and bounce VERY well (maybe just a little too well - one bounce on top of the school roof!)
