Why did I wait so long to buy Chacos? There is something about the fit , the footbed huged my heels, arch support check, room in the toe box double check. Those crazy adjustable straps slide this way pull the other way awesome, that is the ultimate in customized fit my foot was cradled in ready for a walk. Im recovering from being hit by a car so I have hip foot knee damage. I was very anxious to find the perfect fitting shoe for recovery walks. I bought a pair of these Chacos a few months ago in preparation for a trip to Orlando, though I’ve been using them daily ever since. My wife has bought multiple since we were married and finally convinced me to try them out. These have been the best sandals I’ve ever owned. While they take a bit to get used to, they rubbed my big toes raw for the first two weeks or so, they’re now super comfortable and no longer agitate my feet. They’re really durable to where I would happily where them on a hike. I’ll definitely be buying another pair when these wear out. The only downside is that the strap used to tighten the sandals is pretty long and hangs off the back several inches. I’ve had to tie on some rubber bands to keep them secure. As reference for the image, I usually wear a size 11.5-12 shoes so I got size 12 Chacos. ... show more

My fiancé is not much of a Sandal wearer, but because I love my chacos he gave them a try! He loved the versatility and traction that chacos provide, but when trying on in stores he didn’t like the toe strap. In stores he didn’t have the option for no toe strap, so we ordered here. He thinks the appearance is more manly without the toe strap as well as the comfort level being higher. Mainly wear them to water parks and kayaking in the river and they work great! ... show more

    • Standard fit, nice and sturdy. If you're between sizes, go for the smaller one.

Sandals fit well - as-expected based on size. If you're a half-size, I'd err on the closest size down (I'm a 10.5, went with 10s and this fit great). But what I'd really recommend is buying both sizes through Amazon's try-before-you-buy program. Super easy to try both and send one pair back. Support is nice - more than you'd expect from a sandal. I've had these for a whole summer season and been on multiple beach trips in and out of the water, and they still look brand new (though I am making sure to rinse them in fresh water after being in the salt). I'd feel confident & comfortable wearing these all day in most (open-toe-safe!) scenarios. Only gripe is that the straps you pull on to secure the sandals are ~2" too long, the way they fit my feet anyway. I feel like that's not a real criticism though, it'd take like 20 minutes to shorten them myself. ... show more

I had a pair of z2 a few years ago and have tried a few others since then. I saw these in a color I liked and have them a chance. They’re terrifically comfortable with and without socks and being able to adjust them to my exact size is a benefit if forgotten these have. They go on easily and come off easily and don’t slide around. I like that they are stiff enough to not cause my feet to feel tired after a long walk. Size: 10 Color: Split Gray
I've owned several brands of sandals but these are the most comfortable. I found some confusion about how to measure for size. What I did is stand on a ruler with the ruler and your heel against the wall. Go by whichever foot measures the longest. For a man if you measure 9 to 9-15/16 inches get size 9. Again for a man if you measure 10 to 10-15/16 inches get size 10. My longest foot measured 10-1/4 inches so got a size 10 and they fit wonderfully. Sorry don't know about women's sizes. Will take a few times adjusting straps to find best fit. Just be sure your foot is forward in the sandal as the back strap is slightly adjustable. This is how I got the best fit for me. ... show more

Same sandal but with different strapping. These have a slightly dressier look than the old, plain, black. I normally by 10 D or E shoe and I have a high instep but these fit me well.

Great for my white water rafting trip where light hiking was required afterwards. I typically wear a size 9 men's in most shoes but decided to get a size 8 men's since I have skinny ankles and I am glad I did. The size 8 fit perfect
