This is the only dry dog food that our Chihuahua mix will consistently eat. I have tried many brand-name dog foods and flavors and he did not like any of them much. Most of the time he would not eat until he was hungry and had no other choice. Sometimes he would not eat at all. The Cesar chicken flavor is a winner. He prefers it over the beef flavor. The small kibbles are also a plus. He will now usually eat as soon as I put out the dog food. Yay! ... show more

Didn't read that this was for Adult dogs because I was in a hurry to buy it. But it was the cheapest for the most and pretty good quality for food in my opinion. 14 lb bag for $20ish. I bought it for puppies but once I found out it was for adults I just let the food soak in water for a bit so it wasn't too hard. My puppies in particular aren't picky but I guess that's because they're puppies. But anyway would definitely recommend for Adult dogs since my adult dogs do seem to eat it all up. And the kibble is perfectly sized so my old chihuahuas dont have a hard time eating it. ... show more

We have a little 10 pound rescue chiweenie and she absolutely loves this dog food. I do mix in fresh foods to her diet but she loves this dry dog food as much as almost anything else we offer her. I did check reviews of this dog food from various sources on-line and the reviews are all very good. Our dog has experienced NO adverse side effects such as stomach upset, bloating, diarrhea nor any other issues to date. I have provided the soft foods by Cesar to our previous dog and she, likewise, seemed to enjoy the food as much as any of her treats. As the owner of 4 picky chihuahua's finding the right food is important. With Ceasar dry dog food it surpasses my expectations. The food is a mix of soft and chewy pieceses to crunchy. My babies love it and dives right in everytime it's put in front of them. The kibble is perfect for small mouths, and something that was a selling point for me was that chicken or chicken by product meal is like the 10th ingredient.
