I’ve used this product since I was 15 (& I’m now 30). This has always been my go to since other brand deodorants don’t work for me. I’ve had issues with excessive underarm sweat for a lot of my life & this has helped me a lot. I’ve learned that excessive sweat can be caused by life & stresses & anxiety which I’ve experienced more sweat in those harder times in my life. I rarely have issues a much as I used to, only when I’m nervous & cause more underarm sweat but usually one side is a little worse than the other ! The smell is fresh and long lasting. I have used it both at night & morning, and either way it works the same for me. If I forget to re apply, it’s still fresh the next day. It doesn’t like crazy residue or cause any irritation to my skin (even after shaving. although sensitive skin may have issues with that so be careful!) This is the second antiperspirant I have tried from Certain Dri. I tried their strongest product first and it worked incredibly well at keeping me dry, but it caused me to break out. I was hoping that this product, being made for sensitive skin, would be different. For Sensitive Skin: I have sensitive skin and have had no issues at all with breakouts or irritation with this product. It has been like any other deodorant I've tried over the years. If you have sensitive skin, this is for you. Scent: This product has a strong "fresh" smell to it, almost like clean linens. It doesn't smell bad, but it is strong. It is so strong that my fiancé refuses to lay to close to me until it dries and dies down a bit. If you love that sort of smell then this shouldn't bother you very much. Antiperspirant: As I said above, the clinical strength from Certain Dri did wonders for me, but my skin is too sensitive to use it. This antiperspirant helped my sweating issue, but did not fix the issue. I still sweat when using this, even after following all instructions for application. But to be fair, my problem is severe and my sweating has been extreme since I was a kid. This product definitely causes me to sweat less than a typical antiperspirant but it does not completely stop my sweating. It may work great for you, but unfortunately does not for me. Conclusion: Great for sensitive skin, strong "fresh" smell, but unfortunately is not a strong enough antiperspirant for me. ... show more

This is a product that I keep on subscribe and save. My entire family uses it since we all tend to perspire a lot and the average deodorant doesn't seem to work and I have tried them all. From the least expensive to the most expensive.

    • Stops working after a while

It worked amazingly the first few weeks but eventually lost effectiveness to the point it would stop working after an hour or two and I would have to reapply it throughout the day, while other brands would last all day. May be worthwhile for special occasions but not for daily use.

I apply this in the evening before bed. Immediately after applying I can smell my daytime deodorant wear off completely. This stuff makes me stink so bad I usually have to spray myself and my bed with some kind of perfume just to be able to stand it. I'm glad I sleep alone, I don't think anyone would be able to stand the stench. It smells as if I ran a marathon or worked a 14 hour shift without any kind of deodorant on. I feel like there’s 2 types of armpits. Stinky but not sweaty or sweaty but not stinky. If you’re both, then I’m sorry ‘cuz that sucks BUT that’s even more of a reason to buy this! I’m super sweaty, always have been, and I’m talking like pit stains halfway down my stomach. My wardrobe ALWAYS consisted of black shirts or tank tops with a sweater over it because I was so embarrassed of how much I sweat. I haven’t been using this for too long, but I can already see a huge difference! I’m actually able to wear colorful tops now or even just any kind of top without a sweater. I work with a doctor and she told a teenage girl about this so first of all I was like heck yeah I love free doctor advise (perks of being a medical assistant) and second I was like oooh I gotta try this! Her recommendation was to put this on at night and then use whatever deodorant you want to during the day. The combination that works great for me is this deodorant at night after my shower and then the Mitchum gel mens deodorant during the day. I still constantly check my armpits to make sure I don’t have pit stains because I feel like I’m sweating, but when I go to the bathroom to look, there’s nothing there. Obviously some things can’t be helped like being out in super hot weather or running around like crazy. During my 12 hour shifts when I’m so busy I can’t even sit down for longer than 2 minutes at a time I will get sweat stains but it’s NOTHING compared to how I used to get. I also like that it doesn’t clump up like most women’s deodorant’s do. It doesn’t have a strong overpowering scent and does keep your smell to a minimum. My rude A$$ sister used to always make fun of me because of how bad my armpits would sweat and now I make fun of her because she uses that clumpy deodorant and constantly has white little balls falling from her pits and powder staining her shirts.
