Its cross section is elliptical rather than circular, with a maximum diameter of 6.5in and a minimum diameter of 4.53in. Weighed 1.6bl, the vase does not feel very heavy in the hand, as it requires lightweight clay to fire. This is a requirement of the craft, not a flaw in it.

It arrived in a box with mold foam it sat in so no way was that going to break! It is as beautiful in person as advertised! Trying to create that Zen like feel with some green leafed branches in it. Simple, classy and gives off that fibe I like!
