So an update to this review- the company did email me and sent a new light. The light works well and the tree is beautiful. I’m very pleased. I wanted to update the review in case someone was in doubt like I was and worried that the tree would not be a good purchase. I also am uploading a picture. The tree has definitely helped take away the end of Christmas blahs. I have a red heart for Valentines on it and I intend to put a green clover at the top for Saint Patrick’s then I’ll be ready for spring and pack it away till next year. First Review-The ceramic tree is very nice and looks made well, but the light that goes inside to light it up and plug it in does not work. I tried switching light bulbs and still it doesn't light up. Now I either need a new light plug from the company or I'm stuck purchasing a new light plug myself. The tree was not cheap! For over $50.00 dollars the light that comes with it should work! I've messaged the company, but the reviews are iffy for this company so I'm not sure if I'll hear back from them or not. Problem is I like the tree, so I really don't want to send it back, but I also don't want to have to purchase a light up plug for the tree and spend more money. ... show more

Beautiful pearlized color. I do wish the star was a little more stable and the switch didn't stick on cord - but those are minor things. I love things that glow during this dark time of winter, and although I didn't like ceramic Christmas trees growing up they have grown on me.
