Description

Product may be either 62-203 Ceram-X polish or Marine polish 62-M203, same product different face label. The secret to a Ceram-X flawless finish is a formulation using size-specific and highly-refined abrasives for controlled cutting and polishing from start to finish. Replaces outdated and inferior use of Diminishing Abrasive technology (DAT). Eliminate the need of multiple compounds/polishes that are commonly formulated using fillers to mask and conceal swirl marks and holograms. Say good-bye to customer come-backs due to the use of inferior compounds/polishes. Body shop safe, Ceram-X can be used on all paint types including ceramic clears, fresh or cured paint. True waterborne technology, Ceram-X allows for easy clean-up without the cement- hard residue commonly found with other compounds and polishes. The advanced waterborne technology also allows for an excellent user experience and the ability to work in direct sunlight. Ceram-X can be used by hand or machine, and any type of polishing pad (wool, foam, micro-fiber, etc.) Body shop technicians, professional detailers, and hobbyists can now simplify their world with this unique Single Product Polish and say good-bye to the need of the multiple compounds/polishes approach the industry wants you to believe. Directions: Ceram-X was formulated as a body shop safe, single product polish capable of removing aggressive 800 grit sanding marks, and finish down to a swirl free/hologram free finish with the use of only two types of polishing pads. Use any cutting pad for initial defect removal, then switch to a foam medium pad to achieve final, swirl free finish.

I used this product with a DA polisher with the maroon and red pads. I was able to remove years of swirl marks and scratches. This product also works well for hand polishing using a microfiber cloth. It is easy to use. I just put a little on a microfiber cloth, polish a bit, wipe away the polish and repeat until the desired results are achieved. Worked okay, didn’t have the cutting I was expecting, not made for getting out medium scratches or water spots. To much product, should sell it in 4 oz size. I used maybe 15% on My car.

I did a side by side comparison between the CSI polish and Wolfgang Concours Series polish. So far the Wolfgang product has a much cleaner/clearer look. It's not that the CSI looks bad at all but the Wolfgang polish looks better to my eye. Update, I started out using the CSI Cream-X by itself and it just didn’t bring out the clear shine as another product that I have been using on my black pearl/clear coated car. After reading more about the CSI product line I decided to use the CSI Polish Enhancer. The Enhancer made all the difference. I used this on a 5 year old car that has never been waxed, maybe that’s why my results weren’t great. I bought this because it’s supposed to both cut and polish. But my less expensive Turtle compound seemed to work better in removing old water spots. It also created a lot of dust.

Save yourself time and money. All u need to do a paint correction is CSI CERAMX, CSI WOOL CUT PAD, CSI RED FINISHING PAD. 1 polish, two pads.. use a rotary. BAM! done in about half the time. This polish with their wool pad cuts quick which save u time and money in the long run. I have spent an hour just on a hood before when using a long throw DA. I just did an 05 altima hood, two pads, one polish; start to finish in about 10-15 minutes . It's not perfect but it looks great. Very pleased with CSI. ! ... show more

Minor scratch removal is good. Advertised as good for direct sun usage but heavy dusting almost immediately at 140 degree panel better products out there with less dusting.
