  • Thrilled that it worked right away and easily
10/10 unbelievably excited that it worked. I found this product yesterday while looking into ways to get my late grandfathers old phone working again. I was exploring all sorts of Raspberry PI builds, VoIP, etc. After finding a YouTube video showing this adapter with an old phone I figured I’d try it out. The adapter arrived the very next morning with simple instructions on how to connect. After pairing we did a test call and it worked immediately. My phone can send and receive calls. Thank you for a great adapter at a fair price. It’s been amazing to hear my grandfathers phone ring again! ... show more

  • It works well. Easy setup.
(Some "Tech Geek" details included.) For the first time in my lifetime, I no longer have a LandLine! I just ported the "House Phone" number to a $40 Tracfone. Now, instead of paying $50 per month for BARE MINIMUM LandLine service, cell2jack gives me a FULL-FEATURED home phone system with caller ID, texting, etc, for $99 per YEAR! (I can buy minutes or texts if I need more.) This device is like having "The Phone Company" inside a small box! (About 1/2 the size of a pack of playing cards!) I made several test calls to/from my other cell with it, and it works well! Being an Electronics Tech, I did some deeper testing. LandLine on-hook voltage was 51VDC. This unit is 54. Off-hook was 6V with LL, and 5.2V with this. (This is at highest setting, lowest was 4.7V) The ringing signal is plenty to power all of my cordless phones & one "princess". Total REN is only 0.6 so the device isn't being stressed. It transmits the caller ID data after the first ring, just like the LL would. (It was an extra $8/month for that on the LL! Free with cell2jack!) I pick up any of my house phones, and hear dial tone. :) Amazing device! ... show more

  • Works. Sometimes noisy. Extension phones can be a bit different for talking.
Works. Setup is pretty straightforward, just follow the instructions. Works well for one old phone at a time. You're cell phone works as usual. If you answer on your cell you wont hear anything as all the audio is switched to your phone line. You can answer on your cell or your old phone and talk on the old phone. I have it connected to my house line so I can plug in extra phones like I used to have it with my land line. We used to have 'conference calls' which different people on each hand-held phone. I can pick up on either phone but if I pick up the extension, and then pick up the phone closest to the cell phone, it will cut off the extension. If I pick up the phone closest to the cell, then the extension, I can hear on both and use it like I used to. I noticed that the quality of my extension phone is much better than the phone next to the cell. Oh well. There is some noise when using both old line phones at the same time and it is a bit hard to hear on one of them (the cheaper one) - wish there was a volume control to get more volume. When using any one phone, it is fine. The background noise is not really noticeable on either of my phones although my extension phone's background noise is nonexistent and the volume is higher. It is a better phone though, one from an office. I like it and am glad I got a good working cell2jack so I can pick up my phone in the other room instead of running where the cell phone is. Would definitely buy again. Edit after a couple of months: Not always consistent. Sometimes just gives silence when picking up a call and the other person gets silence also - no contact made. Recently, did not trigger the answering machine but went to voicemail on the cell phone so did not know anyone called. Also, most times now, does not connect call when pick up extension. Not reliably working. ... show more

  • Works as intended
Very easy to set up. And it just works. Exactly what I was looking for. Small enough device to hide under a desk. (I use it at work) No special weird cables required. I bought it for the nostalgia and using a wallphone I placed in my cubicle as decoration originally. Now it works.

  • Works as advertised!
My mom is 97 years old. Her fingers have almost no feeling so we have had to keep her landline, with regular handsets that I have modified to raise the answer call and end call buttons. Moms landline went out and the company service techs are on strike. The said it could be a month before it could be fixed, even though they put us on an emergency medical service call! She has to have a phone for emergencies when i leave to get groceries. I bought her a cellphone and have spent endless hours, trying to get her to learn how to just answer and make calls. Her fingers just won't work well enough to use the cellphone properly. Enter Cell2Jack! What a lifesaver! It took me 5 minutes to set up. Now Mom can use her regular hand held phone like she is used too. We fired the landline company! Thank you Cell2Jack!!! ... show more

  • EASY to set up!
Very straightforward and easy to set up. Synced instantly with my iPhone 15. Would have been the answer to my needs except for the phone system it was hooked to. Never could get enough volume out of the phones. NOT the fault of CELL2JACK!

  • Poor Sound Quality
Everything seems to work fine, but I get complaints from those on the other end that it sounds like I'm speaking through an intercoms system. They have a really hard time hearing me and understanding what I'm saying. Thought maybe it was defective cell2jack, so I exchanged it for another but the quality didn't improve. Bummer cause I was really looking forward to using my landline. ... show more

  • Works very well
It works very well and was easy to install. I got it so I could use my ATT wireless phones to alert me to phone calls. I am hard of hearing and don't carry my cell phone with me in the house so this is great for that. One slight problem but not a deal breaker was that when I call my voice mail with my cell it defaults to Bluetooth in the answer screen. (EDIT I think this may be the case for all calls I answer from my cell while in range of the Cell2Jack Bluetooth) All I have to do is touch the Bluetooth symbol to change to speaker or handset. There may be a way to override that but I don't know it. Also since it is Bluetooth it runs my phone battery down more quickly. No big deal. My phone is pretty old. I would definitely recommend this product. ... show more
