This boosts my signal strength from around -122dBm to as much as -92dBM, which means I can go from taking 30 seconds to load a web page to be able to have video calls. The only issue I had was after about 2 weeks in the hot desert, the glue adhering the black protective cover for the antenna apparently melted and the cover flew off leaving the bare antenna exposed. I fashioned a plastic bottle with a zip tie until I got a replacement. Their customer support was very responsive and shipped the replacement part right away. I have been testing this system for the past few months as I travel through areas with little to no reception. I installed this unit in my LX470 and have been pleasantly surprised with the quality and durability of the amplifier, antenna and cable assembly. For areas where I could not receive a signal, I can now easily stream video from YouTube, watch live feeds and stream music with no dropouts. I have the standard height mount without any of the extensions installed. I mounted the external antenna towards the back of the roof of my vehicle and the internal antenna is sitting in one of the cup holders next to the drivers seat. I plan on mounting the internal antenna on the side of the drivers seat. I also tested the system with multiple people in the vehicle using iPhones and Samsung devices. All reported no dropped signals and solid signals during the drive through known areas of low to no signal. Overall I am very satisfied with the system and would recommend it to anyone needing stronger signals while driving through cellular signal challenged areas. ... show more

Booster is very well put together and super easy to install on my Jeep Wrangler. I'm able to receive service in fringe coverage areas where signal would normally drop out. This booster works really well with Project Fi as you can utilize service from multiple carriers in the foothills and mountains of rural Appalachia. The interface is easy to use on your phone and you can easily see which signals are coming in strong. Customer support is super responsive and very pleasant too. I like this a lot, a lot better than weboost which I've had for less than a year and broke on me. The thin insulation broke and the plastic piece that screws to my truck broke, it was duct taped together for a little before I found Hiboost. I work in the oilfield which has very shitty reception especially this 1 location I've been going to a lot recently and when I made the swap to hiboost, I instantly noticed the reception difference from the Hiboost. Exceptional performance. Although i haven't had a whole lot of time to experiment and test it as my truck is now in the shop, I can say just based off a 2 ish week period of testing in comparison to the weboost truck travel kit, hiboost was much better on hardware regarding the coax cable being thicker, a smaller size profile for smaller vehicles and easier software (app) being more user friendly. I'm an 18 wheeler driver, so I'm everywhere every day. My main focus and concern was to see if the booster actually worked by the city centers, but it works even when I'm in the middle of nowhere Nebraska or Kansas or Wyoming.... The app that it came with is the first few days I was trying to use made me curse out loud, thinking I just got duped into wasting 500 bucks... So, instead I started testing the network speed on the laptop and cell phone browsers. I'm not disappointed. The signal strength is flawless for the cell phone and the separate company wifi hotspot. Speeds are 10-50 mpbs and no more dead zones. Know this ahead of time, getting the antenna set up is a bit of a nightmare on a volvo vnl 760. The hook and the antenna had to be placed on the Right door, mirror bracket.... Nothing "simple" about it, unless you go to a shop that will actually work with running the wires under the mirror, undrer the hood and into the cab. Otherwise, just have to run it under the plastic below the window and under the flap of the door inside the cab.... Which, to be honest, made me pretty angry having to do. So, if you are willing to be dealing with the above set u, then you can get it done within a few hours yourself. Otherwise, you will hunt for a shop that will agree to do it for you... 2 attempts and refusals, made me just hail marry do it myself. ... show more

Increased signal by 2-3 bars in several know areas. I have a truck with a large sleeper and at times could not get signal in the sleeper,only up in the cab. I now can watch netflicks is very remote New Mexico
