Even when watered down to make the color more translucent, there is still plenty of glow! It is easy to use, dries quickly, and being water based makes it super easy to clean off. Once it dries you have to be careful with physical contact on the painted area but it is easy to reapply (I used the orange to make a Zero the dog nose, and I had to reapply it after my hubby let me cuddle with him too much). ... show more

I really wish they made this to not only glow under black lights, but glow in the dark, TOO!!! Just making sure you all know that these colors do NOT glow under anything short of a black light, although they are very bright, bold & vibrant, just on their own. I’m just saying.. that would be really cool! Anyways, this goes on pretty smoothly. I haven’t noticed any breakouts from using this product, but I only played around with it twice, so far. I’m thinking the quality is quite fair, that is of the face & body paint colors themselves. The brushes are wayyy to stiff to be used on my sensitive skin, most especially on my face. I’d appreciate soft, higher quality bristles, but 🤷♀️. I just used my own brushes, but I’d like to see them rectify that. This kit is better then average, but not quite fully meeting my expectations of quality for cost, due mainly to the brushes. I’ve decided to go with a 3.5 star rating for quality for cost, aesthetics & overall value. I am rounding it up to 4 stars, since 1/2 stars cannot be recorded officially, and I feel it’s more deserving of rounding up, rather then down. The media could not be loaded. First of all, for those of you who are not aware, this makeup needs to be water activated. That means, in order to use it, you have to either dip your brush in water, or lightly spray the palette with water. The reason for why the brushes "are hard" is because with nicer brushes, you have to rinse them in warm water before you paint. The makeup and brushes appear to actually be of great quality, but since there aren't usage instructions, I think that is why some people may be confused. The actual makeup when used properly is brilliant - the glow is so intense it looks like there is a light under my skin. Without the light, most of the colors other than White and yellow show up really strongly. I definitely wouldn't get this kit if white is one of the most important colors for you to use. With the light, the brightest colors are: Orange, Yellow, Green, and Red. Pink and blue show up alright, and white is really hard to see in general, but it is a bit easier with the light. Purple doesn't glow at all. The transfer of this makeup is there, but it doesn't smudge at all which is really nice, especially if you're thinking of taking this makeup out on the town for more than a few hours. The brilliance of the brightest colors is so impressive I would still definitely recommend this kit for people wanting to try out fun new styles, even if not all the colors are that bright. ... show more
