They don’t have a slippery sole! They fit true to size in length, but are a little wide. According to the reviews and description (not being totally true to size), I ordered several sizes at once so I could get the right fit. I wear a 12 X-Wide ASICS running shoe and this shoe in a size 12 was perfect (these don’t come in a width, but they fit my wide foot perfectly). I bought these because I wanted a casual pair of slip one for the summer. I wear a size 12 and have narrow feet. These fit the bill perfectly. I added an arch support but the insole seemed pretty good and is removable. They are comfy and decent looking. I love these canvas boat shoes. I initially ordered my normal size 10 (for Crocs canvas boat shoes), and they were too big. So I reordered them in one size smaller. Perfect fit. Nice shoe for going out in a nice shirt and shorts. Will be getting another pair.
