The money that comes with this is British (2 penance etc) and there is no volume control. It also comes in a box with no pictures, so they would have to open it to see what it is (if you were to gift it) Otherwise it is great and my 5 year old daughter loves it.

Best toy cash register I have seen yet. As long as it lasts, it’s perfect. Scanner beeps, can turn the debit machine around so it faces the “customer” like in real life. All the little details make this very realistic and fun. My six and three year old love it.

My son received this cash register for his third birthday. All of the kids really like this toy. I knew from reading other reviews to expect it to be small but I thought it is a great size. The kids love being able to talk into the speaker and hear themselves. I was slightly disappointed in the money, it is really thin paper and only 5s and 10s were included. 2 year old daughter loves this. Well built with all the accessories your child will need for grocery store fun. Shopped around for this type of toy and this one was the best price. Glad I bought it because it has help up great through all kinds of 2 year old 'fun'.

Cute register, some improvements could be: longer scanner cord, its way to short and it could be a little bigger. The bet part is it scans and makes up prices so it gives the impression of actually ringing things up. The little scanner underneath the main register screen should be on the flat surface on the left side, my daughter does not use that button at all.     • Wouldn't buy again...
Was really looking foward for this item... Sadly my children were disapointed because the microphone doesn't work and its not as loud as others described it to be... (The batteries were brand new) The register just came defective...

The media could not be loaded. In my opinion, it's too loud for little ears so I'm returning it. Decibels should be limited to 85. The sounds it makes are obnoxious and can be heard from the next room. That being said, my daughter really liked playing with it. Has low profile almost touch screen buttons so better for older kids. Other Cons: -No moving conveyor belt nor working scale like the Boley one. -Money is in British pounds/pence. -Scanner cord is too short to reach to where you would put the food. -Hold a button while talking for mic to work--complicated for 2--3 year olds. Pros: -Credit/debit card slot added feature -Decent working microphone -Cash drawer opens well -Food items are nice looking -It adds up everything you scan (using made up prices) ... show more
