  • Just a Learning Curve
Size: 16.9 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I recently tried CarPro Reset car soap and was initially disappointed with the results. The foam was watery and didn't stay on my coated cars long enough for proper agitation. It felt wasteful during the wash process, which was disheartening. Surprisingly, after the first wash, I noticed that the paint appeared remarkably bright and glossy, even though the soap is not supposed to contain any gloss enhancers or wax. This intrigued me, so I decided to give it another chance after watching some positive reviews. During my second attempt, I realized my mistake – I hadn't used enough soap. The recommended 2oz in a 32oz cannon wasn't sufficient; it needed to be 3oz. With the right amount, the foam adhered much better to the car, effectively lifting and capturing the pollen and contaminants from the surface. However, the unpleasant smell, reminiscent of old hairspray, was still a downside. On the positive side, CarPro Reset washed off nicely and didn't reactivate when rinsing, streamlining the process. Considering the price and the number of washes I can get, I'm undecided about using it as my regular weekly wash soap. It does work great once you get the dilution right, but it might be on the pricier side for routine use. Nevertheless, if you have the budget and can figure out the optimal amount to use, it delivers excellent results, leaving your car with a stunning glossy finish. ... show more

  • Great Car Wash
Size: 16.9 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Truly a great car wash shampoo (also foams up good in a foam cannon). Suds up great, cleans great & washes off easily while removing dirt & grime. I have a light coating on my car & it did not come off, so you will be fine.

  • Great shampoo for cars with ceramic coating
Size: 16.9 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I love this stuff. It provides plenty of lubrication to keep my fresh ceramic coating safe and you only need to mix in a capful to create a full paint bucket of soapy water. The formulation doesn't leave anything behind so the hydrophobic properties of my coating are kept in tact.

  • A soap that's actually different
Size: 16.9 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
On a results level, most car soaps give the same result. Having tired many before. This soap actually made me stand back and say "huh...it's visibly better" Used in a foam cannon, worked great.

  • Lives up to the hype.
Size: 16.9 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Car detailing products are becoming a bit like cosmetics. With everybody claiming miracles it's hard to know what to spend your money on first. Recently I've started to take detailing my cars seriously, so I took a look at a few Youtube videos to find out what the pros recommend. CarPro Reset was one such product. For a while I've been using Meguiars Gold Class shampoo, with good results. But when Pan The Organizer recommended this as his number one shampoo in his 2019 awards, I figured I'd try it out. First off, it smells great. I just can't get enough of that smell. I think it's cherry but whatever it is it's really nice. Secondly, it's economical. Due to how concentrated it is, a small amount goes a long way. Thirdly, and I guess most importantly, it cleans really well! It removed with ease all the dead flies, and pollen and all the weird stuff that falls out of the sky and lands on your car. Better than the Meguiars. After I cleaned the car and rinsed it off, the car looked fantastic, with a great shine. Granted I only waxed the car a couple of weeks ago but the Reset definitely brought out the best of it. I'm looking forward to using it on my other car that has a ceramic coating on it, because I'm sure it's going to look amazing. CarPro Reset definitely lives up to the hype, and it's my new shampoo. ... show more

  • Great shampoo for ceramic coated vehicles
Size: 16.9 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
High quality shampoo for vehicles that have been ceramic coated. It is mild so it's not harmful to the coating yet very effective at removing dirt with a soft sponge. Rinses off with no film.

  • Update: Its worth it
Size: 16.9 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Updated review (original retained below): I have now been using this product exclusively for the past three years and I stand by it wholeheartedly. For 2 of those years I drove my bmw about 400 miles per week, kept it in the garage overnight, and washed it about once per week. The car never stopped beading water despite the heavy use. I follow the same routine with my new bmw and will probably do so with the next as well. Wish this stuff was less expensive and foamed up a bit more in the foam cannon but overall I am incredibly impressed. Original review from 2018: I've been detailing cars for a decade and recently coated my car with Cquarts Pro. I purchased this to help maintain the coat and I'm not sure its really worth the hype. I still use it to avoid the waxes in other shampoos but I'm not sure its worth the money. It doesn't foam well and while I do have beakers, I think the average person will have a hard time measuring out the appropriate concentration to use. I will be looking to try other ceramic washes but Cquartz and Car Pro Reload will remain integral parts of my lineup. Caveat: While I have been detailing for a long time I am relatively new to ceramic products so there is still a learning curve which may impact my experience with this product. ... show more
