My daughter was blessed with my hair (when I had it *sigh*) and as such it is African American and can be hard to manage. She's lucky to not need to get it permed but it does require maintenance and moisture to keep it manageable for a constant blown out status to then style it as she sees fit for the day. Carol's REALLY helps in not only moisturizing but keeping it soft and blown out for management. It is the first (and sometimes last) line of defense and helps especially on humid days we've found. It works so well that she only needs to use it every other day (sometimes every three days) along with a hot comb/brush. 5/5 ... show more

I have never had a product that has worked as well as this one on my kids’ 4c hair. It leaves their hair feeling soft and moisturized. It really does detangle the hair just as described. I have used so many detangling products and non have worked this well. It is so good that I ordered another bottle the day after using it the first time.
