Carhartt developed Traditional Welt work boots to offer a wide variety of styles in classic designs that are incredibly durable, comfortable and affordable. Tough jobs call for tough boots. Goodyear welt construction with lug bottom Carhartt rubber outsoles provide superior traction and durability. A PU Cushion Comfort Insole and PU strobel cushion pad provide comfortable support and reduce foot fatigue. All styles incorporate FastDry Technology linings that wick away sweat for comfort.

I’ve been a fan of Carhart pants and shirts for years now, but I’ve always gone with timberland pros as far as my work boots. They are fairly light which is nice for what I do being a technician/mechanic. For the price I think they will last at least a year. They do look and have a feel like they are kind of cheaply made but I’m hoping that looks are deceiving and they hold up. However, these boots, I ordered back in October, still good qualify after a month of working. No tear, no worn. I once dropped a sheet of plywood on these boots. My toes didn't even yell OW! This is a great work boot. It's nothing more and nothing less. It'll last me about 1 full calendar year or working in the Auto industry. Full time 8 to 12 hr shifts and home use in the yard. This workboot is about 2 lbs each with a steel toe the boots ready to work day 1 with minimal break in. Very comfortable work boot got two pair and they lasted half a year all 4 boots the tread detached and every type of boot repair glue failed to hold had to throw all 4 boots away

I’ve tried a lot of different boot manufacturers through the years including timberland, redwing, thurogood, Carolina’s, etc and I’m very surprised by these boots. I gave them a shot because of the price discount around the holidays. At first I was skeptical of the leather. I’m a structural steel welder/fabricator and I beat the hell out of boots. So usually the leather rips around the flew point of the toes. But so far a couple months in and they haven’t shown any signs of real stress. Usually within the first month i have threads coming apart, doesn’t matter what manufacturer it is it happens. But so far I don’t have that issue with this pair. This boot does break in fast because it is a lighter weight boot. This is a good warm weather boot for sure. Not ideal for winter but I’m making due. Overall even if I paid twice as much as I did, they’d still be cheaper than a pair of redwings and they’re holding up just as well if not better than redwings. Update June 2023 I’ve been wearing them everyday, even jumped trades from welding shop to HVAC work in the city. The leather still hasn’t given up like most boot brand leather does. The outter sole is beginning to loosen up a little more than I’d like but city walking is a bit taxing. ... show more
