Description

The heavyweight champion of sweatshirts is made of 13-ounce, 75% cotton/25% polyester fabric and has a Rain Defender durable water-repellent finish. The zip-mock collar has an 8-inch antique-finish brass zipper. It is designed with spandex-reinforced rib-knit cuffs and waistband to keep the cold out. There's an attached three-piece jersey-lined hood with draw cord and front hand-warmer pocket. The Carhartt logo is embroidered on the front left pocket.

Maybe my quest for the perfect hoodie is complete. I’ve had Champion Reverse Weave, American Giant, etc, and just about every top rated hoodie out there. This is the best yet and it’s $70. Fair price compared to some of things I’ve tried. Why it’s the best for me… The fabric is heavy and soft inside. The cut is perfectly detailed. I love how it hangs on shoulders and is loose enough across the chest. It’s fitted without being tight. The phone pocket inside the big pocket is a nice detail, not sure I’ll actually use it, but it does fit my phone. I also LOVE the 1/4 zip. Great addition to the classic design. Means I can stop drafts getting down my neck and also pull the hoodie off without taking off my glasses. In terms of fit, IMHO size-down. I am 6’ 1” and 240lb, with a long torso. I’m ALWAYS an XL. For this one I ended up with a L Tall after trying 4 different sizes. The XL was like a Champion XXL. The only thing I’d like to see in the future is more color options. ... show more

This is an excellent buy. I think I could have gotten away with getting it in a 2X. This has a great feel, heavyweight, and is definitely warm. My boyfriend is 6'7 and this fits him so well! He is super broad shouldered, and usually hoodies are a little snug across for him, but this was loose enough that he could move with comfort. The zipper definitely helps with that :) like all Carhartt material, the hoodie is super soft but also heavy and durable enough for his construction job.
