It's made in Honduras. Quality is par with the usual expectation of Carhartt products, regardless of country origin. It's a...hoodie. Decent deep pockets, nicely fitting hood, There is a 1 square inch Carhartt logo on the pocket. You are not goind to have any fashion creds, wealth-signing, or likelihood of being mugged for your street wear. Warm,well-made, probably will endure 8 years of frequent wear before your S.O, insists you get a new one. (IMHO it's "broken in" when the sleeve cuffs begin to fray. Worth the price -they do run "baggy" but if you want slim-form fitting hoodies, you may as well shop Patagonia,Black Diamond. and Arc'teryx,for 6-10X the price... and made in sweat-shops overseas. ... show more

I’m 6 ft tall with very broad shoulders and weigh 265 pounds. The 2XL fits perfectly. It’s loose enough so it doesn’t feel overly tight but not baggy either. I received the hoodie and really liked it. It is more of a fall/Spring mid weight shirt. I liked the color, style and it’s very well made. Unfortunately I had to return it because it runs Huge! I replaced this hoodie with the Carhart rain defender which was exactly what I was looking for as far a heavy duty winter sweatshirt goes. I did however learn my lesson and go a size smaller and it fits perfectly. ... show more

I usually wear an XL in every other brand but after reading reviews decided to order a Large and glad I did! I don’t like baggy jackets and this large fits the same as Dickies XL. One thing to note the tag says “loose fit” which might account for the larger than normal fitment of this jacket. It has a really soft liner and perfect weight for a light coat. I think it’s worth the extra cost as it feels much better quality than others. I’m 6’2” 230#’s with a 36” waist for reference. ... show more

This replaces my old Carhartt zip sweatshirt that I used and destroyed over the course of at least 10 years. Carhartt products run on the big side, and their stuff is sized for real men. I'm 6', roughly 265 lbs, and I purchased a 2X, and it fits loosely, but comfortable. One of the things I love most about Carhartt jackets and the zip hoodies in particular, that hood is actually intended to fit a real human head. The hood is loose and covers my whole head, not just from my ears back like cheaper hoodies. Somehow, this sweatshirt arrived in under 18 hours, and I don't even have Prime, so not sure how that worked, but I'll take it. ... show more

It’s a good, solid hoodie. It’s got some weight, and I don’t fear that it’s going to shrink like crazy when I wash it. It’s a little baggy, but I’d go ahead & get your correct size. The zipper works, but I’ve seen better zippers too.
