I am 5'11" - 165ibs and the MEDIUM fit me so well. I was worried they would be too small. They are not quite long enough to wear them all the way down on me because I'm tall. Wish they made a long version for tall girls. But I just rolled them up a couple of times and they look cute with flip flops or sneakers. I don't have a butt, BUT these pants are flattering on my butt lol. They are also really comfortable. I'm already shopping for another pair in green. I'm 5'5", 125 lbs, long-waisted, and carry a little extra weight in my belly and on my hips. The mediums are attractively baggy and a little too long, but it sounds like, from other reviews, they will shrink some when washed. If not, I don't care because they are flattering and comfortable, and I can have them hemmed if I want. If so, there's some leeway in the overall fit. The elastic waist in the back doesn't detract from the look at all but the pants have belt loops if anyone is inclined to hide it with a belt. I wasn't sure I'd like the high-waisted fit, but I do because they feel so soft, airy, and flowing. I almost ordered the small but after reading the reviews, I sized up, and I'm glad I did. Love the brown, and the pic was an accurate representation of the color. UPDATE: Holy cow! They shrunk up a whole size! I washed them in cold water on delicate, hung them out of the sun until they were almost dry, then threw them in the dryer on low for five minutes. The pants went from being high-waisted to below the belly button, and fit so tight the pockets were gaping from being a little too small. I'd say they lost about 1 1/2 inches in length. I'm going to be Captain Obvious here and say that, because of the mixed reviews regarding shrinkage, some people are getting preshrunk fabric and others aren't. I deleted a star for inconsistency in sizing and definitely won't be ordering another pair. because I don't know what I'll get next time. Order a large and hope they shrink that much again? Nope. these pants are seriously great, especially if you’re a thick girly! hips are around 42 inches waist 28 and at first i ordered a large due to size chart for the hip area but they were a tad baggy in the waist and crotch area. I reordered them in a medium and they fit perfect! I would try and size down if you want a more fitted look but if you want them a little baggier order your usual size! also- they are short girl friendly! I am 5’1 and they aren't too long, pair them with platform sneakers or boots and your good to go! ... show more

These will shrink, even if you wash in cold water and hang to dry, they still will shrink. These aren’t the best pants but also not the worst, I did buy a few colors. The shrink helped make the waist area more appealing and not so boxy looking but the length I preferred longer before the shrinking. The black ones run MUCH smaller (even before washing) than all of the other colors I got so far. I am 5’3” 130lbs (28” waist, 38” hips) and got size medium. ... show more

I'm a teacher working with young children, so I'm up and down off the floor all day. These pants look professional and have a nice stretch for comfort when moving. Waist is fitted while legs are roomy. Have washed them twice now, and they look nice when I take care to lay them flat to dry (as tumble drying is not recommended). Handy cargo pockets as well! Working in the construction industry cart hart pants have always been my go to but with recent back surgery those pants really put some pressure on my spine due to how snug and how thight they fit. It is great quality and fits so well in the waist and thighs! It fits like the size chart says! The only thing is that the calves are very baggy. I’m around 5’6” and I had too much fabric gathered around my calves. They were extremely wide, baggy, and long. This would be great for someone who is taller!
