used this for a recent offroad riding trip with 4 riding buddies and it worked great. saved us a lot of time for the turns. and was fun to joke and talk while riding our dirtbikes. the set u was actually pretty darn easy. download the app. install the speakers, mic and unit mount. my new helmet actually had pockets for the speakers, which was cool. the voice recognition worked incredibly well. and the sound quality was great. the sound level is easy and quick to adjust with a large roller on the outside. i was able to adjust with my gloves on while riding very easy. didn't do any music or phone calls. just communication with riding buddies. Been a Sena User for many years but recently moved to another State and my new Riding Buds all have Cardo Units. So I got the PackTalk Neo. The sound quality is better than my previous Sena 20S Evo. The Voice Command feature is mostly working well and the Battery Life is very good over an all day ride. The FM Radio, at least where I live now, is a bit intermittent with lost reception and weird zapping sounds as you move over the landscape. The rider-to-rider communication range seems similar to the Sena 20S Evo but when connection is lost due to distance it seamlessly reconnects when closer proximity is achieved. ... show more

I do not go riding without this. Helps perfectly with your iPhone with hands free phone calls and really does a great job at listening to music. I like how I can easily change the volume with my gloves on and handle phone calls as well.

Decently easy to set up for the helmet (I used a modular helmet) and the microphone works well through highway speeds. It charges really fast and the battery life last a little bit longer than 12 hours. The Bluetooth paring is a little iffy on the app but the speakers and microphone pretty much instantly connect to Bluetooth and you could use your phones Google or Siri. Wish the bass was a little bit better on the speakers because you can’t really hear bass that well past around 50mph. If you have a tight helmet the speakers and wires do add a little width that could be uncomfortable and make it harder to put on the helmet without folding your ears. This was one of my best purchases for riding gear. I have been riding for 15 years and wish I would have hopped on the cardo train earlier. Don't skimp on cheaper models. Mesh is super user friendly. Quality of cardo is great. Connections are easy to do via mesh. Fitment instructions are easy.

This headset is supposed to replace the packtalk bold. My friend has the bold, and I purchased the neo. Holding the two in my hands, the neo is significantly chincier feeling. Build quality is something I'd expect for a $100 unit, but not at this price point. Value is very poor. Furthermore, the batter life is significantly worse than the bold. My buddy can talk to me and play music on his bold for 12+ hours on a charge. I'm lucky to just to be able to talk for 8 hours without playing music. Sound quality sucks as well for the price. We often struggle to understand one another. I reached out to cardo about these issues and they told me this is all "normal". Tldr- cheap build quality, poor batter life, crappy customer service, waste of money. Try something else. ... show more
