used this for a recent offroad riding trip with 4 riding buddies and it worked great. saved us a lot of time for the turns. and was fun to joke and talk while riding our dirtbikes. the set u was actually pretty darn easy. download the app. install the speakers, mic and unit mount. my new helmet actually had pockets for the speakers, which was cool. the voice recognition worked incredibly well. and the sound quality was great. the sound level is easy and quick to adjust with a large roller on the outside. i was able to adjust with my gloves on while riding very easy. didn't do any music or phone calls. just communication with riding buddies. If you are considering a Cardo, stop considering it and buy one. This thing is an absolute game changer. Not only the pack talk feature which is wild, but phone calls while riding your motorcycle? Insane. Like truly insane. Hang up on them and pay attention to the road. If only my wife didn't know I can answer phone calls. More importantly though, pay attention to the Notoricues B.I.G. as he serenades you through the 40mm jbl speakers on both sides of your noodle as you ride through those back highways and city streets. Seriously the FM radio is amazingly string and clear signal, the Bluetooth is outstanding. The mic has noise canceling for phone calls and responds to Siri. The only thing lacking in audio quality is a little bass but if you wear earplugs (which you should) they will push up against the speaker a little bit and that bass will rumble through. Easy install but I'll warn you on this. Choose the install wisely by putting the speakers in first. When you stick the unit on the helmet, you only get one shot do not miss your chance to blow. Husband bought these for us a while back because I would was scared when I couldn’t communicate when we rode around. So far they have worked really nice! We are able to link up our music together. One feature I really like is that it turns down the music volume when one of us talks. Pretty expensive, but they work well. The battery seems to be good for several rides without charging. And they are easy to pop off and plug in when you do need to. Happy with this product! ... show more

Dunno why I never got this earlier. I get one, my wife, my brother, my best friend and couple other guys I ride with. Setup group with all of us once and never had to redo anything after that. You can listen to music, talk story, mute your mic with voice commands, answer the phone and the other person doesn't even know you riding. My bike is super loud but sound isolation on this is awesome. Will get me another set as soon as I get paid for my other helmets. I love this CARDO system. Mostly got this so I can play music while riding. Battery life has been great, 30 minute ride to and from work each day 75% left starting week two. Fairly easy to use and adjust volume on the move. No connection problems with my phone. Think the speaker upgrade is worth the money compared to the lower end models. Voice control can be a little frustrating and if you have a lock on your phone it won't let you open or control apps on the move. Haven't tried connecting with other rides yet to know how well that works. ... show more

Just bought this, installed and worked great for music. Sound was great, but then I tried making phone calls. Couldn’t hear the ring or the person I was calling and they couldn’t hear me. This kind of issue out of the box is unacceptable

I mostly got this so I can play music while riding. The installation is fairly straightforward, and there are plenty of videos to watch if you need help. Battery life has been great, I have ridden for 3+ hours two days in a row without charging it, and still, had 75% left on the battery.
