  • Amazing
Style: Pencil Set
Expensive yes. But if you’re serious about coloring/being a colorist, you have to have these. They’re amazing. sturdy, tips don’t break off, vibrant, smooth, blendable and layerable. Buy them!

  • BEST colored pencils
Style: Pencil Set
I have all the major brands of colored pencils and these are by far the best. They are creamy and lay down pigment without scratchy pencil lines.

  • SON UNA OBRA DE ARTE
Style: Pencil Set

  • Love, but not as my main set
Style: Pencil Set
I love these pencils however there are a few things you should keep in mind... 1) these are annoyingly slightly larger than a standard pencil so probably need to get a special pencil sharpener. The only one I found that works is the Kum 2 hole. It's just a little silver one without a case. I got a three pack for $7. 2) these are primarily earth tones. There are lots of shades of brown ochre, yellow ochre...sepia. Personally, I would not buy this unless you have another set with a greater range of colors you're going to mix it with (I have Faber castell polychromos). 3) these are expensive pencils so replacements are expensive. I think you can get them for like $4.60 per pencil at Dick blick if you buy a certain number of pencils. I really enjoy having all of the earth tones... I know there are plenty of artists out there that are super skilled that can make super realistic looking flesh tones with very few colors but mine just never looked right. I ended up using smooth Bristol for the piece I'm attaching. ... show more

  • The best in colored pencils
Style: Pencil Set
Okay I know that they are insanely expensive investment but if your pocket allows definitely invest in these, even if it's a smaller set and u just buy a couple colors by themselves over time, because they're so worth it. I've been using polychromos and prisma premier for years and while I love both I have major problems as well. Prismas are amazing at blending but they suck at sharpening or keeping a point and sometimes with too many layers I get wax bloom, while polychromos are amazing at fine details but not the easiest to blend. Here is where my new favorite colored pencil comes in. LUMINANCE is butter smooth but holds a point and stays sharp longer and doesn't have any of the structure flaws like prisma, meanwhile it blends itself its so amazing and joyful to work with. The pigment in these are high quality and super pigmented. Also I just want to say, I usually take my colored pencils and throw them in a canvas roll or a secured pencil pouch BUT this box holds the pencils so snug that I've kept them in there. It is a bit inconvenient to have three trays on your art desk but I typically work in color groups so its not much of an issue. ... show more

  • Wow!
Style: Pencil Set
These glide beautifully. Vibrant colors. Still learning how to use them. Presently using them over Pitt and Stabilo pencils. Looking forward to more play.

  • Fantastico
Style: Pencil Set
... show more

  • Great quality and super easy to blend!
Style: Pencil Set
These pencils are absolutely amazing! They came organized and packaged great! Really good quality and easy to blend. They last long and the tips don’t break easily. It comes with 2 colorless blenders, a paper with some tips on how to blend, and well the pencils of course. It may seem pretty pricey but it’s definitely worth it. The pencils are vibrant and aren’t “waxy”. They cover the paper easily and I definitely recommend them. ... show more
