I didn't think finding a trash can for a truck would be a big deal until I started looking around, tried a few things, and was vastly disappointed in everything. When I say that so much thought went into this trash can and I could find nothing better, I really mean it. It's perfectly sized to fit right behind the console of a Silverado 2500 , comes with a few bags but takes regular standard plastic grocery bags which is a huge plus, it has storage pockets on the sides and also comes with these little clips that keep the bag securely in place. I appreciate that the lid, flips backwards and also that the closure is a magnet so it is totally mindless to close. I shouldn't have to put on my thinking cap to have to close a trash can. It's waterproof and durable and the clips are adjustable in Two different places so you can hang it exactly how you want. I will definitely be outfitting other trucks in our fleet with this trash can. ... show more

This one has a lid and probably holds twice as much. I use it in my room. Sturdy, leakproof and amazing price. Easy to clean and easy to use. Seems like durable plastic and fabric.

I bought this trash can for a road trip. I bought it because it came with garbage liners AND could be used with regular shopping bags. This was super convenient! It was great to have a place to put our snack food wrappers and other garbage you inevitably accumulate when you're in the car for many hours. Things I liked: 1. The size is great! It was small enough to be moved around but large enough to hold quite a bit of trash. 2. The liners! I love that it came with a bunch of liners, but that you can use any standard shopping bag once the liners run out. 3. The liner clasps! It is awesome that the trash can has claps to hold the bag in place. So much of the time (in other trash cans) the liner doesn't stay, which is super annoying! 4. The material! It is waterproof/washable so when I got yogurt all over the side of the bin I was able to quickly wipe it down. 5. The Velcro and clasps! It's great that Velcro and clasps are included to secure the bin to the floor or the seat--whichever works best for your car situation. Things I didn't like: 1. The lid. I ordered this bin BECAUSE it came with a lid. But the lid does not secure when closed. What's the point of a lid if it doesn't have a magnet or clip to ensure the garbage doesn't come out? The bin got moved frequently on the road trip and it would have been nice to "lock" the lid before "tossing" it in the back seat. 2. The soft-sided container. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against the material used for this bin (see the material in things I liked). It was easily cleanable and looked great! But because it arrived folded and is soft-sided, it always seemed to be on the verge of collapsing. It was annoying that it wasn't as straight-sided like in the product picture. Helps keep my car Clean of cups and receipts. Large enough to sit behind back seat on the floor and can hold quite a large bit of stuff. Easy to use and can pack down small with passengers. I recently bought a new car and wanted to find something that would help me keep it clean and organized. I searched my options and decided on the Drive Bin. I received it on time and it was packaged nicely. It seems sturdy and I like the clips on either side for holding the plastic bags. I had planned to place the strap around the lid of the console and allow the bag to hang behind the console where I could easily reach it. But, the strap is too big/thick and my console lid would not close over the strap. Minus one star. Plan B was to hang it around the head rest which I was able to do. Don't really like it there as any backseat passengers will have a trash bin in their face but it will have to do for now. The description of this bin was that it had a lid. Not....at least on the item I was sent. There is no lid. It is not a really big deal to me so I did not complain but I did expect to receive what was described. Minus another star. ... show more

This is a great trash can for the car. I like that there are clips to hold the bags in place. It came with 10 bags to start, but since it holds standard size bags, I can use any size grocery type bags. The straps are adjustable, so it can hang from behind the seat or sit on the floor behind the console. I was able to put the strap around the console and it did not interfere with the console closing or the function of it. The lining seems very substantial, so I am not concerned about anything leaking into the car. Since it is lined and insulated it would work as a cooler. Some soft coolers leak, and I have not used it for that yet, but I think it will work fine. There are 2 small pockets on the sides. I am using one to put the extra bags in. I am not sure what I will use the other one for. I bought this for my husband's Honda Accord. It is bigger than what we need on a daily basis, but I got it because of a long road trip we are taking and we will be eating and drinking on the road. This one would be better for larger cars/SUV's and families. I bought the smaller one for my Honda Civic (it came with 20 bags), and it is the perfect size for a car. ... show more
