I was looking for a relatively inexpensive, but sturdy 4 foot plus high fence for my backyard to provide relative privacy for showering after exercise. I enjoy rinsing off with a cool water from my garden hose after exercising or doing yardwork in the summer. I didn’t want to spend too much money or energy into the project. The Caprihom air conditioner/ trash can fence looked like a good option. It was fairly easy to assemble. It came with stakes to hold it into the ground, but I was concerned they may not hold up during summer thunderstorms so I added additional support with a couple metal fence post supports. I assembled the panels on my garage floor thus making it easier to place the panels on the stakes. I watered the ground to place the stakes making it much easier to adjust and straighten the stakes. This made it easier to make sure the fence panels were level and straight. I am very pleased with the fence. It added more curb appeal to our home. Hoping it’ll last for years to come. Nice privacy fence. I had difficulty installing because two ground stakes were damaged. I returned the item. But seller offered to send replacement parts. Except for that, it looked to be nice quality and installation instructions were straightforward.

UPDATE: Seller responded timely and sent replacement caps. Updating to 5 stars. I was looking for something to hide my garbage cans to appease my HOA. This worked perfectly. Item arrived on time and was fairly easy to put together myself. All I needed was my drill and a rubber mallet. The metal stakes that are included are an upgrade from other sellers and make a big difference. Only complaint I have is that one of the caps was broken. I will be reaching out to customer service and will update the posting if response received. Rating 3 stars for now and if broken piece is replaced in a timely manner and good customer service, will definitely be updating to 5 stars. ... show more

A number of shortcomings should be noted. Instructions were minimal and in less than perfect English. Labels on product were mis-mounted adding to confusion. Most importantly, make sure you are a dedicated DIY'er or have access to a handyman. You may very well need an auger of some sort depending on your soil (I did), a mallet, power drill, level, and SURPRISE ... the screws are not flat blade or Phillips bit rather 3/16" square bits. Great quality, easy to install with good directions. Looks great but I bought it to help with hvac noise nest to bedroom window. Unfortunately it didn’t help as much a si hoped for. No knock on the product. Recommend but maybe not for noise suppression l.
