    • Here’s how Camper sizing is different between shoes and other EU sizing

My american size is 8.5 which is normally 39 in all but camper EU sizing. With them I have to go up to a EU40/US10 and what I get is either right on, slightly big, or slightly small. I have only gotten two pair that were just a bit small in this sizing. EU 40 should be size 9 US but not with camper. Just FYI. Once you get your size socked in, you’re generally good. This pair of black right nina’s is too tight across the big toe part of my forefoot. They will stretch out for sure, they all do since the leather is good quality and soft, but I am having to use liquid shoe stretcher and wear them around the house over and over. Usually I can just get them and go. I also like zero drop shoes, and the camper inserts have a 1/4” rise on the heel since most people are used to having their heels raised a smidge. I pull mine out and replace them with lems shoes primal 2’s inserts which don’t have the rise in them. Some of the nina right ballet shoes are now coming with flat (zero drop) inserts now too. I bought a pink nubuck pair that came that way and it’s a good thing for me at least. When there is no arch support, your feet have to use themselves and the muscles to walk and work, and I used my time during covid to go barefoot for the year at home and my feet are much better. I had been having all sorts of problems and using super feet in all my shoes but the issues kept getting worse since my feet were just being supported not being used. I just love the camper’s that are flat, they really are great and pack like a dream if you are traveling. I also like the wider(mostly) toebox, but sometimes you get a fluke like this pair. Mine ran slightly smaller than usual for a camper size 40 and I would say these are an EU38.5. they’re long enough, but not quite as wide as I’d like across the top of my foot from the big toe. I am 7 1/2 and 38 Euro—ALWAYS! But I sized up as suggested and a 39/9 fits absolutely perfect. These are literally the most amazing flats and comfortable and cute. They are reminiscent of Merell flats which I love, but they no longer make. They are expensive, but the quality shows. I love these shoes. SIZE UP! It’s needed. The red is fun and vibrant. I suspect I’ll be finding black or gray ones sooner rather than later. ... show more

Shoes I got were not as pictured (suede with different color strap) but I think I like what I got better, which is the smooth black leather with the same color band. Other buyers have mentioned this same thing. One shoe seemed slightly bigger than the other, but that just might just be my imagination. Very comfortable and easy to walk in (however, I haven't walked in them too far in case I change my mind and return them). Run very small as mentioned. I normally wear a 5 1/2, got a 6 (36) and seem perfect. Hard for me to find comfortable shoes in my size so I bought a few pairs in different colors. A little clunky-looking for some people, but I love them. I usually have to buy shoes with a strap to fit me. Seem to be authentic Camper brand. ... show more

I have these in other colors and they have lasted well. As others have noted they run a bit small. I got my usual Camper size of American 9 (39), although in other shoes like Birkenstock, I am an American 8. My big toe touches the top on my left shoe, but as the leather is so soft it does not cause an issue. Sizing up did not solve the problem and made the right shoe far too big. ... show more

These look like beautiful shoes, but they are very small. I’m generally an 8 or 8-1/2 but because other reviewers said to order up, I ordered a 9/39. I should have gone up another size to a 40. I’m trying to pick shoes with a wider toe box nowadays, but these still seem a bit narrow. Too bad.

Super cute and lovely soft leather with a wide elasticized band to keep shoe on your foot. My feet, measured yearly by a pedorthist with a Brannock Foot-Measuring Device are size 11M with long toes. My left foot is the longer and my second and third toes are longer than big toes. I got the largest available size EU 42 (box also lists US 12). The toe box of these angles downward which makes the toe box too short for one of my toes. If you have the average toe alignment these shoes should fit if you go up one size. ... show more

It’s hard to find a flat that fits a narrow foot, but this is it! I use my Birkenstock insole for extra support as I have a flat foot. It’s true that these run a full size too small, but I ordered one full size up and it’s great! The toe is a little tight, but I think with wear, the soft leather will mold to my foot for a perfect fit. It’s a cute and functional shoe that I’ve wanted for a long time. I've only worn one shoe, in the house because the other reviews about fit have worried me, but I think I am ready to wear both shoes to work Monday. They LOOK small when taken out of the box, I thought there was no way I could get my feet in, but they are comfortable. I typically wear a size 7.5 and the 38 fits perfectly. The only off thing is the elastic strap felt very tight at first but seems fine now. Still, it wrinkles the skin on my foot, just below the strap in a way I have never seen with any other shoe.
