Description

Classic right nina ballet flat from camper. Camper is more than a shoe company, it is the dream of a Majorcan family who have been manufacturing shoes since 1877. It is a Mediterranean dream that establishes a way of being, of living and of feeling. Their dream combines traditional roots with an industrial vocation and has lead Camper throughout the world. Camper shoes have a spirit and personality of their own, presenting a diverse range of footwear that combines design with imagination and functionality. They are unique and original, and constantly surprise. The slogan "Walk. Don't Run" expresses the Camper philosophy of slow living and their appreciation and attention to detail. These are values that are found in the original designs created with the passion and flavor of the Mediterranean.

  • Here’s how Camper sizing is different between shoes and other EU sizing
Size: 9 Color: Black
My american size is 8.5 which is normally 39 in all but camper EU sizing. With them I have to go up to a EU40/US10 and what I get is either right on, slightly big, or slightly small. I have only gotten two pair that were just a bit small in this sizing. EU 40 should be size 9 US but not with camper. Just FYI. Once you get your size socked in, you’re generally good. This pair of black right nina’s is too tight across the big toe part of my forefoot. They will stretch out for sure, they all do since the leather is good quality and soft, but I am having to use liquid shoe stretcher and wear them around the house over and over. Usually I can just get them and go. I also like zero drop shoes, and the camper inserts have a 1/4” rise on the heel since most people are used to having their heels raised a smidge. I pull mine out and replace them with lems shoes primal 2’s inserts which don’t have the rise in them. Some of the nina right ballet shoes are now coming with flat (zero drop) inserts now too. I bought a pink nubuck pair that came that way and it’s a good thing for me at least. When there is no arch support, your feet have to use themselves and the muscles to walk and work, and I used my time during covid to go barefoot for the year at home and my feet are much better. I had been having all sorts of problems and using super feet in all my shoes but the issues kept getting worse since my feet were just being supported not being used. I just love the camper’s that are flat, they really are great and pack like a dream if you are traveling. I also like the wider(mostly) toebox, but sometimes you get a fluke like this pair. Mine ran slightly smaller than usual for a camper size 40 and I would say these are an EU38.5. they’re long enough, but not quite as wide as I’d like across the top of my foot from the big toe. Don’t usually have to wait for them to stretch out… ... show more

  • Not As Pictured.....But I Like Them
Size: 6 Color: Black
Shoes I got were not as pictured (suede with different color strap) but I think I like what I got better, which is the smooth black leather with the same color band. Other buyers have mentioned this same thing. One shoe seemed slightly bigger than the other, but that just might just be my imagination. Very comfortable and easy to walk in (however, I haven't walked in them too far in case I change my mind and return them). Run very small as mentioned. I normally wear a 5 1/2, got a 6 (36) and seem perfect. Hard for me to find comfortable shoes in my size so I bought a few pairs in different colors. A little clunky-looking for some people, but I love them. I usually have to buy shoes with a strap to fit me. Seem to be authentic Camper brand. ... show more

  • Great shoes; some size variability in 11s and 12s
I love these shoes and have been looking for any and all colors in size 11. Not easy to find so I'm also buying some 12s to see whether I can get them to fit. Several of the size 12s are just too large, even with my various combinations of insoles, including Naot Koru insoles, which are pretty thick, but add quite a bit of arch support. But these light tan suede (not yellowish as they appear on my screen) size 12s fit quite well, only a touch loose, and with a thin half insole added to my smaller foot, the shoe fits well. So, tho I wear a 9.5 medium to narrow in the real world, in the Camper Nina world I wear an 11 or rarely a 12. Let that size weirdness help you decide which to order. Soft, flexible shoe, remarkably comfortable, and some arch support. The elastic band holds the shoes on my hard to fit feet and looks great. I'm searching for more. Flats that stay on both my feet AND look good are hard for me to come by . . . and these do. So I love them! ... show more

  • Comfortable Soft shoe
Size: 8.5 Color: Black
Great soft moccasin/shoe. Defiantly runs small order a size up for starters. Has a moderate arch support for walking they are easy to slip on and stay on. Very easy to pack and take up very little space which is important. Overall a great find. The size up was snug in the length but the shoe leather is so soft that it was not a problem. I ordered 2 pr to have one for everyday and one pr in reserve. Additional information on size, normally a EU size 38 would be a US 8 but in these it is not I ordered a 39 and am happy with the overall fit. ... show more

  • Comfortable, fits as expected but strap is awkward
Size: 7.5 Color: Black
I've only worn one shoe, in the house because the other reviews about fit have worried me, but I think I am ready to wear both shoes to work Monday. They LOOK small when taken out of the box, I thought there was no way I could get my feet in, but they are comfortable. I typically wear a size 7.5 and the 38 fits perfectly. The only off thing is the elastic strap felt very tight at first but seems fine now. Still, it wrinkles the skin on my foot, just below the strap in a way I have never seen with any other shoe. I just have to hope nobody looks too closely at my feet. ... show more

  • comfortable shoes
Size: 7.5 Color: Black
I love campers. For the amount of money though it would be nice if they had a better insole. The leather is soft and the shoe is comfortable. I previously purchased a size 7 from an actual camper store. They do not have half sizes and they said that the leather stretches. My right foot is bigger than the left and I am more a 7.5 shoe size - especially in the summer. I found the 7 too small. It took some time to stretch it out and even then it was a little uncomfortable for my right foot. I decided to buy an 8 and it is better but definitely bigger. It is roomy and it doesn't look quite as cute or petite as the size 7 shoe did (at least to me). ... show more
